Tim was extremely helpful. Since I was a first-time home buyer, I really appreciated that. He was very knowledgeable and he answered a million questions. What I really liked is that Tim looked at the plumbing and the roof and other things that were visible to see if there were any obvious problems or things that would need to be replaced pretty soon or that hadn’t been maintained very well. I really appreciated that; I was a first time home buyer and I didn’t want to buy something that was going to fall apart on me as soon as I moved in. He had a good eye for general maintenance issues. He checked my electrical although he didn’t check it like an electrician would. He looked at it and saw that it was all new and that parts of it had been replaced. He said the same thing about the plumbing. Sure enough, when I called the city, they verified all that. It was an older home but Tim could see that certain things had been renovated and he was right. He always carried his cell phone and he was always very responsive. He wrote an addendum to the sales agreement because a renter had been living in the house. The addendum said that if the property wasn’t in the same condition when I got it as it was when I first saw it, the seller would pick up the cost to repair it. Everybody hopes that will not happen and it did not happen but just the fact that he was on top of that was so helpful and gave me a peace of mind. I thought it was smart of him to think of that; it’s those little touches that eased my mind.
