Countryside Window & Door was founded right here in Michigan in 2005 with the intentions of breaking the mold. Believing that the highest quality products and superior workmanship will craft a reputation our customers will want to talk about, our reputation is built with every window we install. Even the highest quality installation can be tarnished by tracking mud into your home during those rainy Michigan springs or snow during the long Michigan winters. Excellent Job windows are great They are insulated a very well job preformed. The gentlemen that installed Them were great very nice gentlemen easy to talk with. They cleaned up everything A few of the latches didn't work would have never known about them they told me and had already ordered them and were back in a week to replace them love the windows loved there work.loved the guys.A great Company Would I recommend them yes.

Description of Work: They removed my old windows and replaced them with energy efficient Mylar technology windows (no argon gas to escape). They insulated around them as well, and the old windows were not insulated around. They put new trim up outside around the windows, and put new window extensions and trim in the house for them also (although we did have to stain the trim ourselves). They were very professional and friendly. They even let my 5 year old hang out with them and ask a million questions. I would recommend them to everyone! I love my new windows and love their service as well!

.They did contact us again to resolve this matter and to give us an apology for the way our install was handled and they did install 2 more windows in the front of our house at their cost. This time there was no problem with this install. The man who did the install did a very good job and he also fixed the problem with the doors leaking air around them, apparently the last installer did not insulate around the doors so they had to be pulled out and re-set again. I am sorry it took a bad review to get things resolved but in future companies need to hire good people to do good work.We are very happy with the last installer and the work he performed for us.
Description of Work: Got one sliding door and three entrance doors with self-storing storm doors and when the installers showed up they had the wrong storm doors with them. We called the company and were treated like we were lying about the storm doors. They reordered them and there was another mistake in ordering which set the install back another 2 weeks. We started this process in July and it was not completed until October. . |

This job, unfortunately, was installed by a subcontractor. It had 2 specific doors that were not something we typically installed so we sought outside help. THIS WAS THE FIRST AND LAST TIME WE USED A SUBCONTRACTOR. Since then our employees have been properly trained for this new product line and we've had no problems since. We were horrified when we saw that we had a negative review online, since that has never happened in the 13 years we've been in business. Fortunately we were able to resolve the issues, aside from the customer feeling like we treated them like they were not being honest with us. This was a huge misunderstanding, which is why we made up for it by installing 2 new windows for free. We did have an ordering issue with the storm doors which is why it took so long. Unfortunately we were at the mercy of the manufacturer and sincerely apologize for the long wait. The $20,000 price listed by the customer, for some reason, includes interest on the loan. The actual sale price is roughly half that. When having to stretch a loan out in order to achieve an affordable payment interest adds up quickly. $20,000 is what the total cost is to the customer if they only make the minimum payment for the entire term.

Everything went great right from the start! The guy who stopped out to show us the windows was very friendly and explained everything thoroughly. The people working in the office were very helpful. If i had a question, they were just a phone call away and were able to answer all my questions in a timely manner. The installers were great. They showed up on time and the installation went smoothly!
