Great! They ordered the part right away and I had my laptop back sooner than expected! Were super friendly, organized, honest and overall a really wonderful place to do business.

I was very pleased.

I had to call and nag and ask for updates. Not pleased. I was not in a hurry, but I was anxious to find out if my precious files were recoverable. It took a week to get an answer and another week to get the files. The cost was acceptable, but having to call and call and CALL to find out whether he'd started the work, whether he could see files on the drive, whether he could find my files, etc.... got sick of that very quickly. I was patient, waiting 3 days before the first call, but quickly figured out I'd have to call every day to get results. I did get my files, but I was never able to talk to the actual technician. It would have made his job easier if I had, because I believe the counter person, a pleasant but computer-naive woman, didn't give him the details he needed to understand the issue and my needs.

The results were better than I hoped. Getting there was a bit frustrating. This could be partly my fault, not being specific enough in my expectations. I thought that the fix would take three or four days, after five days I started calling. My machine was always "highest priority" and was being worked on, but often the techs "were out on emergency calls". Then they had to wait for some disks from HP. It was two weeks before my PC was ready. Luckily, I had my desktop as a backup during this time.

He has another job at the present so there was a couple times that I called twice. However, overall he was available to help me. This was not just fixing my computer at the shop and setting up the DSL for me at home. He also was available by phone hooking into my computer to help me with unrelated problems since I am not very savvy on the computer. The phone calls were sometimes almost an hour. He was extremely patient with me in trying to help me with my computer. He was also able to explain things to me on a level that I could understand. Because of his jobs and my jobs there were times that he helped me by phone later in the evening. Overall I was very pleased and feel very confident in calling him anytime with any of my computer problems.
