FANTASTIC SERVICE. My initial phone call to Tresnak Construction was returned the same day. Tom, the owner, presented me with a detailed estimate the very next day. He promptly returned my phone calls and answered all questions I had regarding his estimate. His five-man roofing crew is amazing. They started the day by carefully moving my exterior furniture and lawn decorations. They put down tarps and shielded my doors and windows with sheets of plywood. They installed the new roof materials exactly as stated in the estimate. When the job was completed, the crew did a fantastic job cleaning up. Not only did they remove the obvious debris, but they very carefully searched through my yard looking for every little scrap and nail they could find. If you want your roof done promptly and professionally, then I recommend you call Tom at Tresnak Construction.

Arrived as scheduled for the estimate, Mr. Tresnak spent the time neccesary and explained different options available. The existing roof had issues with a lack of venting and inappropriate venting, Mr. Tresnak explained what was wrong and how they would remedy the situation. We decided to have his company do the work. Mr. Tresnak called a few weeks later and gave a date to start the roof in two days, he called back a few hours later and asked if they could start the next day rather than two days. They showed up promptly at 8am and began work. The crew worked diligently for ten hours the first day, eleven hours the second day, and six hours the final day. The cleanup was very good and I am very happy with the work that was done.

I called 3 times over a two week period. I left voice mail messages all 3 times. No return of my calls. I would consider using his company in the future because the reviews I read were positive. Maybe his voice mail setup is not working properly. Usually after your messsage there are directions to review your message,to amend it ,directions on how to send it. There were no directions .I stayed on the line until the phone went dead. Perhaps he did not receive the voice mail message in the first place.

Everything went extremely well. Tom was very thorough in explaining what would be done and what my options were. Communication from the beginning was excellent. He provided updates as to when dumpster, materials, etc would be delivered/picked-up. His crew was professional & completed the job in one day.

Owner Tom Tresnak personally interacted with me in providing me a quote. Over the next few days, I called him several times with follow-up questions. He was negotiable on a few upgrading elements of the job that I wanted. The work crew arrived on the day/time specified. Clean-up was near perfect--I only found a couple of tar strips and one nail around the premises. Workmen were courteous, and did their work without breaks. One day after completion of the job and payment, I discovered his company listed in the booklet I'd just received from Angie's List. It included a $250 coupon. I called Tom a couple days later and told him I was an Angie's List member, had just received the latest edition of the booklet, saw the coupon, and asked him if he'd nevertheless redeem it. Without hesitation, he offered to redeem the coupon, and personally delivered the rebate check the same day. I've already had the opportunity to recommend Tom to a handyman who needs his roof done. I hope he calls Tom--I hope y'all do. He's been great to work with!

It went very well. Tom came out and did a thorough survey. Noticed roof was very spongy, that it wasn't properly ventilated. Quoted replacement cost, including quality roof peak venting, venting bathroom fans, ice shielding, drip edging, and life-time shingles. He was up front about a per sheet cost for rotted plywood. We had a few more estimates done. One man gave us a quote without climbing a ladder and looking at the roof. Another said the roof was basically solid, maybe a couple sheets would need replacing. Gave us a quote somewhat less, but with inferior products. Another quote was way above the others, with no better product. When Tom's crew tore off the roof, it was plane to see there were truly many rotted boards. They completed the job and did it the right way. It should also be noted that I was interested in gutter guards, for which Tom gave me a quote. Upon further inspection though, he pointed out that due the angle of our gutters, we would probably find that in a down-pour, much of the water would wash over the top and we might be less than satisfied. I think not every contractor would have passed up the easy sale. To wrap up, they did a great job in a timely fashion, and cleaned up afterwards.

They did some minor repair such as caulking. The project went well.

We chose Tresnak Construction because Tom Tresnak diligently worked with us to provide details of every step, every option and made suggestions along the way. The roofing team were industrious, hard working, very polite and worked until their job was done. It took two full days for the team to tear off and reshingle. They were so hard working they even tore off a part of the roof (a pool shed) we were not having done. Tom split the difference on the cost of materials to complete the task. This crew took great care to clean up very well after themselves. The next team to tear off and replace the siding and trim arrived promptly and started to work immediately. They returned when the siding was available to complete their job. They needed assistance with their clean up skills. They also had to return to do a little tweaking to the job. The gutter crew arrived on time, were very professional and expedient. The were very helpful offering some assistance with rain barrel installation. Overall, we are very pleased with the work, the constant communication and work tom Tresnak did to make our project move along quickly and in good order. We will recommend him and his company to all who ask.

Tom replaced the roof on our house, replacing plenty of rotten plywood in the process. A skylight broke during the process which Tom replaced immediately without any hassle. He was very easy to work with.

From the first meeting with Tom, I felt very comfortable with him & confident in his abilities. He was straight forward & did not try to "upsell". After obtaining several roofing estimates, I felt his price was very fair without sacrificing quality. We received the first roofing quote late last summer, but unfortunately were unable to have the work done right away. He was very understanding when we had to postpone the initially scheduled roofing job due to unforeseen circumstances. He offered us a comparable quote again 6 months later. The roofing job took 2 days to complete, with some final clean up performed on the 3rd day. The workers seemed professional & were diligent-I never saw them taking "breaks", etc. They did a great job overall. Very professional but a lot more expensive than other quotes I received.

Like got a little crazy and I never had the opportunity to call and schedule something. Sadly, no one called me either, although someone got my $200. That sucks. Did it go to Angie's List or the vendor? Inquiring minds would like to know.

They gave an estimate, if which was very reasonable. They had a four man crew come and show up when they said they would. They were done within a day and did a thorough cleanup.

The flashing between the roof and the second floor over a bay window had come lose. While we did not have a leak yet, I knew we would if we let it go all winter. TRESNAK CONSTRUCTION was able to reattach and seal the flashing.. They were quick and completely solved the problem, we have had no further problems with the roof.

Great experience. A highly-professional outfit with high standards, but not high prices. You will get an honest assessment and an honest deal. No fine print in the contract. A good company like this one doesn't need that.

I called and asked for a quote on repair/replacement work on my low slope tar and stone type roof. Did not receive a return called so I tried again and did make contact and was told that they would not be interested in doing that kind of work.

Tom is a great guy to work with. His company installed my main home's roof (excellent) So I asked if they would reroof my vacation home. He had to think about it a bit (85 miles away) and consult with his crew. The short of the matter is they all agreed and he did the vacation home. Unfortunately superstorm sandy winds lifted up and blew off a number of shingles. After I called tom he went up and did the repairs to the roof (one month after installation) I am not sure they used prime shingles and the expanded crew may have botched part of the installation (like ran out of nails for the nail gun it seems) Consequently I would not hire his company again and I give him an "F" rating. I am having to file a court case cause the roof leaks. Worse, he has no legal address for his company and provides only his lawyer's address. This company should not be considered if you need a roofing job

Inspect, recommend and quote removal (three layers of shingles), decking repairs and installation of new shingles, and vent. I liked that they quoted decking replacement as a variable cost determined by the number of feet needing replacement. Provided separate quote for replacement of gutters and downspouts along with two options to solve a problem with standing water on one corner of the home. Communication was great. Lead time from proposal acceptance to start of work was less than two weeks. Roofing work took two days with an other day for gutters and downspouts. The roof looks great, and grounds were left clean.

The project when as was described from to finish. Tom and men were the best.

Tom was very professional with all promised timing met. The installation crew was courteous and the work site was left very clean. Several weeks and rainstorms later, there is no evidence of any leaking from the gutters and the water movement away from the house is excellent. We are completely satisfied with the service received.

I do not know since he came when I was travelling and my wife was home. He left us a detailed document about his cost for replacing the roof.

The crew showed up on time, Tom Tresnak was on site with instructions for his crew. Their work was fast and efficient. The old roof rubble was cleaned up as soon as it was removed from the roof. As in any remodeling job, there were small complications that were resolved quickly and without complications. The skylights proved to be a challenge due to the non-standard size of the old fixed skylights. The new skylights are a very high quality product installed with an impressive 3 layers of flashing. After insallation was finished, the crew were very thorough clearing remaining rubble and removing roofing nails from my driveway. Tom came back and inspected the job and made sure I was satisfied. No drama, no complaints and the end result was a very top quality job. I appreciated the attention to detail and the high quality of the work and materials.

I have had several bids on the repair of the issues and no one has said what Tresnak said. I don't want anyone else to be taken in like this so I decided to do this review....

They checked all the vents and fixed all of them. I asked them to check one but they checked the other five as well.
