About us

We are builders of custom homes and remodeling that primarily works around the Higgins Lake area. We are unique in the way we do our proposal in which we show ALL pricing including overhead and profit. It is very itemized and We have found that our clients feel very relax and confident in our system. We have been in busines now for 28 years and during that time we have put together a very knowledgeable teem of sub-contractors, sales and employees. We take a great deal of pride in our work and when the project is complete the friendship of of clients continue.

Description of Work: Very expensive...horrible communication. Did not treat my mother well at all. Said they had no control over their subs...THEY ARE THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR! I have known contractors for over 25 years and I have never been treated as if we did not count, were stupid, "don't understand how it works". I could go on forever. Would NOT recommend to anyone!

Description of Work: I received 2 callbacks to the voice message I left but no one every came out to look at my roof or provide a quote. I probably shouldn't have called during deer season.

Description of Work: 1) Roof tear off and replace, chimney flashing, etc. |2) Finished basement ceiling, wall, lighting, trim, primer paint. |3) New Entry Door & 2 New Storm Doors. | |Bud and son were very good contractors to work with.

.They were cut corners and not tell me. Some of the work was pretty good. They put in a shower for my mom and it wasn't done right it wasn't squared and I had seen some of their work in other places and it was nice but this wasn't I had to call them back out and fix it. They did get the work done in the amount of time they said they would. I am not going to use them again.
Description of Work: .We used Cornerstone Construction for some work we needed done on our summer cottage.
