the arrived when promised, did a very professional job and cleaned up after themselves. No complaints what so ever. They presented 3 choices when estimating the job so it made the decision easier. This was my mother's home, and as she is on a fixed income, she was most appreciative of the ease of decision making with the tiered pricing. She was also most impressed with the curteous nature of the salesman/owner who came out to uote the job she would definately use them again

We did not finish the service with them, which was not their fault because the county had many requirements. The price was also increased from what they initially quoted. Mark, who is the owner was very good and even went an extra mile to finish the work. They are very professional and their customer service is very good. Our neighbors have used their services and did not experience any problem.

We loved the service that they did, and we loved the job that they did, but the professionalism was terrible. They came out and gave us an estimate, we said fine, and we agreed to it. We signed the contract, and when when the workers came out, they gave us another price altogether. We showed them the estimate, and what we agreed to, and they left. I called the company, and I told them that I took the day off work today, and was expecting them. She said that the estimator gave us a wrong price. I said we were sorry, but that is what we agreed to, and it was just a big mess. They eventually came out and did the work, but I just felt that the professionalism was just horrible. They did a wonderful job, but I think they should have been upfront with us. If the estimate was wrong, they should have told us way before we scheduled a time and a date to have the work done. They were nasty to us for their error. We felt the price was reasonable.

UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!!!!! I called to have someone come out for an estimate I needed a paved driveway approach. I am assuming that this was the owner that I spoke with. Conversation started out great he told me that asphalt distributors are closed for the season but stated that he could start the work and prep it and come spring they could come out and finish the job. I advised him that this is something that I need ASAP for my C of O in order to move in to my home and that the city will not allow that. (As I have already went to the city to see if they would allow me to wait til spring) He advised me that some cities do and that they would give me a great price. I thanked him and stated that unfortunately I would have to go with his competition because they are still working this season. This is where the conversation went wrong. He stated to raise his voice and told me that they are blowing smoke up my a** that all these companies are closed and he knows this because he has been in this business for 30 years. I tried to get a word in but he continued to talk over me and THEN HUNG UP ON ME. 30 seconds later he called me back yelling at me for hanging up on him and said that he is only trying to help me and apparently I do not want to move in my house that bad and that I am under educated and he doesn't want my business....and again hung up the phone. This time I had called him back only to get voicemail which I did not leave a detailed message.

It was a fast and good job and nothing happened spectacular. I don't know why I would want to give a price as each job is different. I know it was not helpful when looking for a roofer. I did not know how big my job was compared to someone elses. There was a 15% discount on Detroit Asphalts webpage linked from Angie's List and the owner honered that.
