Representative comes door-to-door every year with equipment and materials ready to do the work. The job is clearly done on their time without regard to customer convenience, OK for the price and the job is definitely done quick. This is the second time I've hired this guy for this job. Swept sand over driveway to help fill cracks, but this aspect was quite rushed with poor attention to detail leading to an ineffective job. Coat material applied quickly and roughly. Lots of material washing out to edges, running off and killing up to 5 inches wide swath of grass. Wiped his dirty, asphalt stained shoes on my meticulously maintained grass. Left foot-prints of dead grass that needed to be re-seeded. This was the last straw. I will not hire them unless I'm offered a deep discount as an apology. Sidenote: I asked the guy about filling in cracks before applying the top coat....he brushed off this request and said " If asphalt don't crack, I don't have a job." What he fails to understand is, I care about my driveway, but I do not care about his employment status! His job is a result of my desire to keep my driveway nice. He lost an opportunity to upgrade his service and make more $$. Next time I"ll use Angies List to find an asphalt professional.
