Excellent job. On the first meeting owner reviewed job with me and was very professional covering all aspects of the job. Made suggestions like a new flashing on skylight and had a price quote that day, unlike other companies. His crew was out early and finished the job in one day as promised. We hired Paramount to install Soffits and Gutters for our Shelby home. Eric was an excellent project manager that put the right people in place for every facet of our job. While it was not without a few issues, Eric was right there every step of the way and any problem became NO problem. The owner of Paramount Building Inc, Eric was the one who came out on our service call. He actually found our shingles were just bent back, not completely missing, so he adjusted them & nailed or glued them back down. Only 1 shingle was actually missing (even though 2 other roofers told us otherwise.) We just happened to have a few extra shingles, so he used one of ours for the replacement (but they do carry extra shingles of different colors) & he repaired the rest, as well as filled in some areas, sealed & caulked wherever it needed to be done. He even re-sealed around our chimney area. Our roof is nearly 20 years old so we thought we had to replace it very soon. Eric said it was in good condition for being 20 years old & we could probably get another 5 years out of it (which we are so grateful since we just replaced the windows.) He took care of all the areas that needed attention & it was all covered under the $99 special through Angie's List! He couldn't have been any nicer either. My husband is not a handy man so he asked Eric how we would repair an area by our front door that was in need of attention & since he had the nails & caulk, he just took care of that too within 2 minutes! That went above & beyond our service call & we so appreciated it! Even the office staff couldn't have been any nicer or more accommodating for setting a time with us. Very pleased with the work & attention he gave us. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for repairs or a new roof (& I understand they provide other services as well, like gutters, siding, etc...) Guess who we are using when it's time to replace our roof?! Job well done! It's hard to find honest people out there anymore. Our home is one and a half stories. I am old and have bad knees. I was hoping to stay off high ladders. The workmen went on to the roof solve the problem and did some caulking. The advice my wife to go to Home Depot and get some different style hoods. We did that and now I have to do exactly what I was trying to avoid which is high ladder work.

The Paramount team was outstanding. The roofing team arrived exactly when they said would and were done with the tear-off, replacing rotten boards and re-shingled all in 1 day. They were all very professional and obviously experienced. The roof looks great and clean up was top notch. The siding looks very nice as well and was done in less than 2 days. The gutter work is also very professional - they easily addressed a downspout issue I had been trying to resolve for years (and other gutter companies couldn't come up with the solution). The few minor issues we noticed along the way were resolved by the Paramount team quickly and without hassle. All in all, the experience working with Eric and the whole Paramount team was as good as it gets. I happily recommend Paramount for any work. I would not hesitate to use their services again.

They were excellent. They were originally contracted with me last fall and then the weather turned bad. I didn't want them up on the roof in the bad weather, so I said wait until spring. They came back on time and did a beautiful job. I was pleased that they were willing to let 6 months go by before they finalized the job. They were totally honest in every aspect and I was very pleased.

Front-end: Eric, the owner, did a thorough job of explaining the scope-of-work and gave me an accurate estimate of the projected final-cost. Construction Phase: Very well organized and competent work-crew: Entire process took only 7 hours. Very meticulous clean-up. Eric was present on-site for a considerable amount of time and even contributed some complimentary repairs, above-and-beyond the original scope-of-work. Inspection-Phase: Eric personally came out a few days later to perform the final inspection. Would I recommend or do business again with Paramount Building?: YES!

First off, the initial presentation was outstanding. The best we saw and we saw 6. Second, we were not pressured to replace the roof at the time of the presentation, which was in January. We wanted to wait until the weather broke for the Spring and Eric was patient to allow us to have the job done when the weather was warmer, while still keeping the great price. Third, Ann (office manager) was very pro-active in keeping in contact and communicating as needed. We never felt forgotten or taken for granted. Instead, we felt valued and appreciated. Fourth, Eric went the extra mile and provided us with locations of roofs that used the brand and color shingle we were considering to show us how that shingle actually looked on a roof. Fifth, when the workers came to do the job, they arrived in force. I think about 12 and they worked from 8am until 5pm. Matt who was apparently the foreman on the job communicated well and left us feeling confident in the job. Very professional crew. Sixth, when we had a few minor issues with the gutters, Eric made sure we were satisfied with the final result. And really, this is the sign of a first class operation - how attentive they are to customer concerns. Seventh, when the job was done, we continued to be treated with deference and appreciation. I would highly recommend Paramount to anyone interested in getting a new roof. And by the way, our roof looks awesome.

Extremely happy and satisfied. The owner, Eric was professional and courteous. Although we've had work done our homes in the past, this was our first roofing job. He walked us through all the details and our options. He was straightforward and knowledgeable. He made us both comfortable and confident in our decision to choose Paramount. I was most worried about one area of the roof that had missing shingles. Eric offered to have the area protected to provide me peace of mind until our work could be scheduled. A gentleman came over on Easter Sunday afternoon to provide the fix! That was unexpected timing, but much appreciated. We were happy to hear that the roofing material and dumpster would arrive the same day the work was scheduled. We wouldn’t have to look at a dumpster in our drive for days like we saw with other roofing jobs at homes in our area. And the material was verified (style, color, quantity, etc.) by the crew before the driver pulled away. The crew was at our home on time and began work in earnest. They worked as a well-oiled machine. They all knew what to do and jumped right into it. The whole perimeter of our house was protected by plywood sheets and tarps, including every window and door. I have not seen that level of attention on any other roofing job in our sub. The crew rolled right through the job taking breaks in shifts. The transformation was amazing. By early afternoon, the crew was soon shifting to finishing touches and clean up. By mid afternoon, they were packing up. A job well done. Other companies gave us estimates ranging from 2-5 days for completion! Eric scheduled a walk-through a couple of days later. He was up on the roof inspecting every detail, just as he told us he would in his proposal. My wife and I would recommend Eric and his crew at Paramount Building Inc. for anyone in need of a new roof.

It was fine. There were no additional fees.

This was a big deal purchase. It did not go very well. I don't know if I should have any complaints against that company but I did not appreciate the way I had to make that purchase. I used Pay Pal and prepaid for the service before I knew when the service would be scheduled. When I called to make contact with them I found out it was going to be about two weeks out. I thought I paid for the service, but I would not be able to get the service done for another two weeks. Meanwhile I felt like it was pretty urgent to get the service completed. Scheduling was the whole issue I had with them. I don't know what to do about it. I guess I was dumb enough to prepay for something I did not know when it was going to happen so I will never do that again. The service was supposed to take care of loose gutters, do an inspection and do a few other things on the roof. I had someone else come over to tack down the gutters and secure them. It is hard to blame that company. They did not say they were going to do it promptly or right away. It just said they were going to do it in the offer that they had. They said the weather was bad and had other concerns for reasons as to why they did not come out right away. They never did the work because when they were going to come we were in the middle of a storm alert and I told them not to come. We never rescheduled. They did offer to come and do the job but I did not want somebody on my roof in the middle of a storm. I feel like it was wasted money.

Eric spent a lot of time reviewing & photographing areas of concern. Took the time to discuss what needed to be done then promptly went to work to fix the problems. Also explained a number of other areas that could possibly cause problems in the future. Got what I contracted for & then some. Can't say enough positive things about this young man. Would definitely hire him again as well as refer him to my friends & family.

Well. There were some issues with the vinyl siding which my neighbor had installed. He consulted with my neighbor as to how to coordinate the work.

Eric and crew were very professional and timely in removing our old roofing, installing new roof, installing power vent, installing new chimney surround (non-brick) and adding insulation to our attic. They did quality work with impeccable clean-up. Eric and team were energetic, courteous, friendly, had pride in their work, and made sure that we were totally satisfied. We love our new roof! Would highly recommend!

Probably the only things that initially frustrated me were the communication -- it took a few months for us to get in touch and get scheduled -- and that I didn't get any report about it right after the service. However, when we DID get in touch -- which I had some challenges with, too -- he scheduled me very quickly, the service appears to have gone very well, and he did give me a summary of how things went at the house (since I wasn't home but I had someone else at the house to help me).
