I was impressed by Metro Electric's exceptional service from start to finish. Within minutes of posting my request on Angie's List, I received a call from the company, followed by a prompt appointment schedule within days. The team's transparency and upfront pricing were a breath of fresh air - and the final cost was even lower than initially quoted. The two electricians who arrived at my doorstep were not only on time, but also courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. They charge $90 just to come to your house and give a spiel on their services and try to sell you a generac, then have a flat rate on top for any service. $171 to change 1 breaker, $258 to diagnose anything. This place is a ripoff. Don't use unless you know you have longer than a one to two hour job. Then you'll get your moneys worth.

Highly recommend! Everything was as expected, good price, good people, and a the best installation of a whole house generator the inspectors from my city had ever seen. Rick and Alex (I think) were excellent, and the generator worked perfectly two weeks after install when my power went out on Christmas Eve!!!

I’m happy with their job and I will use these guys again.

Just know the dispatch service fee is in addition to the cost of parts & labor. I needed repair fast and they were here within an hour and Adam was great plus they gave me credit for their current Groupon. Will call them again when needed.

I had a wonderful experience. Very professional. Dan has all the tools to do the job. I would consider him for my next job.

Very efficient and polite. Would have completed the job in one day had the had the exhaust fan with him because I wanted the upgrade. When he returned he brought a tech with him while he climbed around in the attic connecting the exhaust. I'm very pleased with the outcome.

I have no issue with Dan, the electrician that came to the house. Dan was incredible. He offered suggestions when appropriate; he explained what he was going to do and why; I thought he worked hard. I'd have him back in a heartbeat. My only issue is with the pricing. The presentation is fine; you understand what the cost is of each phase of the project. This is my first serious repair in a long time and I know that the cost of everything has gone up...but when the financial smoke cleared I paid Metro $500 an hour.

Very appreciative of Dan and the work he did. He was on time, extremely professional and the work is fantastic. It was great to understand the pricing and what it covered in such a straight forward manner. I'll be in touch with Metro again for my next project without a doubt.

I had made a request on-line for ceiling fan repair and balance. Home Advisor contacted me and said they had a recommendation. I was contacted by Metro Electric and told the repairman would have everything needed to repair and balance fans. Repairman showed up and said he only installed them but would look at mine if I would like. Nothing was accomplished. Shame on me for not sending him away. He looked for any issues he could fix and said he could not help me. He then checked the whole house for any electrical issues and gave me a report card. I paid him $345.00 for his time and service. Would not recommend Metro for fan repair or balance, they just install fans. I have since been contacted by Metro and was refunded all my money due to the mix-up and misunderstanding. I will be recommending Metro based on their professional and overall customer service.
