I did the destruction first so they came into an empty shell. They just moved everything around so it was kind of nice. They had an excellent time frame so they had a number of people working on different aspects of the job. He had experts in construction and people working in the office so they were good at setting up a time frame. They began and ended when they said they would. They stayed within our budget. It was all very nicely done and it was an excellent experience. There are no complaints and we were extremely happy with them. We are actually planning on doing a deck with them in summer of 2012.

I would not hire this company.

Excellent. In short, it was great from start to finish. They are great to work with, flexible with planning and accommodate needs and changes, willing to do the extra "little things" that make the project great, and very knowledgeable and skilled. At first, they were a little more expensive than other proposals; however, they worked with us on areas to reduce the cost. It was still slightly more expensive but in all honesty, it was worth it. The job was professionally done and they took care of everything needed to complete the project. The team that worked in our home was kind, trustworthy, knowledgeable, and great to work with. They also finished the project ahead of schedule (despite some additional work that was a surprise in the bulkhead). We were very happy with their communication and the results of the project. We will definitely use them again for future projects.

They were great to work with, from the process of getting the bid to the final review. The craftsmanship is excellent, and it was not simple job--it's an old house and a quirky space. The subs were first rate and when one sub made a mistake they took care of it right away. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to do a large remodeling project.

The price for the project was exactly as quoted. They were on time, friendly, and professional at all times. They lined my carpet with a floor cover so they didn't track any mess through my home while they went in and out with tools. Best of all they fit my project into their schedule quickly so that I could get back to redecorating.

Very good overall. No one was living in the house at the time , so there was not a rush to finish the job. I wanted to be present when they were working at the job site, and Rockwood was very accommodating in working to my schedule, as I was to theirs. All the Rockwood people and subcontractors were very courteous, professional, and friendly.

Everything went very well. Will use them for all my house remodeling! Boys from Rockwood knows what they are doing and are very respectful with owner suggestions.

I called them for an Estimate and to inspect the prospective project. I feel the accurately "diagnosed" the water problem and were the only contractor that didn't try to oversell me a complete tear out. Then, after a couple meetings, they took care of the project while we were gone.

Rockwood gave me a very accurate estimate for finishing my basement. They suggested several different options for layouts that took my needs into account. They provided a complete contract and kept in touch both by phone and email. They work in all areas was top quality - I am extremely pleased! Their subcontractors (specifically heating) have been responsive to my questions and concerns about a three-level heating system - even now, 18 months after the job! I would recommend them to anyone with work to be done - very professional!

They did a very good job. All of their subcontractors were professional and willing to come back if anything was not done as we had planned. I would definitely use them again.

Excellent work and excellent customer service all around. The price was also very reasonable, they drove about an hour to my house to do the work which they completed in one day. The work was completed a few months ago and I have no complaints.

Great

Rockwood walked us through everything we wanted and got more information from us. Then they gutted the old tub and vanity, together with a 6-inch bump-out so we could get a 66" tub instead of a standard 60" tub. They installed the new very deep soaking tub, a matte subway tile shower surround with a band of glass accent tiles, which was a pain because the studs were warped and they had to really work to get the concrete backboard straight enough to keep the tiles from going in in wavy or tilted lines. They added bead board wainscoting to a height of 6 feet around the rest of the bathroom, finished by moulding, with a skim-coated new wall surface above (the old walls were damaged because the old wallpaper had been glued directly to the wallboard). Then they installed a new vinyl plank floor (a kind they'd never done before and it's perfect and beautiful) and a new furniture-style vanity with natural granite countertop and under-counter mounted sink, and new satin nickel faucets.

THE COMPANY CAME AND DID A NICE JOB. THEY WERE ORGANIZED AND HAD ALL THE MEASUREMENTS ACCORDING TO THE PLAN. THEY CLEANED UP AFTER THE JOB AND ALSO GAVE US A CHECK UP CALL.
