This repair shop was worth driving a few miles out of my way! I have painful bunions and can't afford to be constantly replacing the very expensive shoes I must wear. The owner at this shop was professional, honest, and knowledgeable. The shoes were ready when promised and look great. I will be back next time I need a repair.

Well, it's wearable NOW but it wasn't easy! FIRST, I had this repaired once in Florida on vacation and they charged me $5 and it took 3 minutes. This was $18 and it took over TWO WEEKS to get saldal back. They had to resew the toe piece of a leather sandal which had been done before and was like new. This time, because I think they used GLUE rather than stitching, the place where toe guard goes into insole now had a SHARP leather and/or GLUE piece sticking out, that literally sliced my toe/foot the first time I wore them. Took them back and all he could do was give me special white tape to hold down the sharp corner. It looks like a bright white bandaid on brown leather sandals. So they are wearable, but they did a terrible job and weren't too concerned when I went in with a cut foot. They acted like they were doing me a favor by giving me two inches of the special tape. SHOULD NOT HAVE NEEDED IT!!!!!!!!!! They are still uncomfortable and I barely wear them. I Will NOT use Tony's Shoe Repair EVER AGAIN ... I see he has a ton of A grades,and I'm usually a generous grader, but just can't do it with this one. I hope I was an isolated incident, but I'm not risking taking him two pair of Uggs to be cleaned! .... GEORGE'S SHOE REPAIR in downtown BERKLEY (12 mile) is old and FABULOUS!!! I'll make the drive from now on.

I've used Tony's repair services for as long as I can recall...15 or 20 years. Always a smile and can-do attitude. Always ready when promised and quality work EVERY time. He is ready and willing to work on whatever you bring him. He has repaired belts, heavy-duty strapping, anything glued and/or sewn that his Heavy-duty sewing machines can handle. He even makes Keys, now.

As always, Tony's gave us the best combination of low price and incredible quality service. Me and my girlfriend have been using Tony's as long as we can remember. I've had soles repaired, and she's had straps sewn back on, things resewn, and dye-to-match shoes created for outfits. Tony's is a real gem of a place.
