I called a few weeks ago for an estimate on tree stump grinding and removal. They sent someone out to write up estimate right away. He took pictures and said he would check with his manager have it to me by the end of the week. Over a week went by and no return call or email. I called and the receptionist said they had no record of visiting my property to do an estimate. She said she would double check with the manager. The manager called me back and said he couldn't do the work until I called Ms. Dig to check location of a gas line. The tree is in the backyard, no where near a gas line. I was confused but did so anyway, and Ms. Dig confirmed what I assumed. I called Oakland Arbor Care again, and they said they still couldn't find the estimate and wold need to redo it. This was strange since the reception admitted they only had two guys doing estimates. Anyway, I scheduled second estimate (Foolish me). We agreed a time to meet but with a different guy. The new guy called the day before saying he couldn't make the time for personal reasons (needed to get his oil changed). So, he came when I was at work and then called later and said he couldn't do the job because of the location of the stump being too close to the garage. This company completely wasted my time and energy.

When I called the office for a quote to prune some trees in the backyard, they were able to send someone out the next day. The quote was reasonable and we scheduled a day for the work. They were about 30 minutes late because of a problem with their truck but they quickly finished the job and cleaned up so well you couldn't tell they were there. When I inspected the work later that day I discovered a branch sitting on the power line to the house that I had missed pointing out. I contacted the job foreman I had worked with and he came out a few days later to trim the branch for no extra charge. Great service!

The crew was hard-working, courteous and very professional. They discussed what they were going to do on my tree trimming project and did it well. Before they left, the crew chief spoke with me to make sure I was satisfied with the job. I will definitely use them again in the future.

Arrived earlier than scheduled Pruning done so fast we were unable to discuss our plans or feelings. Wanted cash for a job that took 30 minutes and a hack job on one of the trees. Way over priced for a poor job. Would not recommend

They responded promptly to my initial call and arrived on time for the estimate. I had eight trees overhanging our roof and the neighbors yard and dead branches that had to be cleaned out. Also a few large shrubs to be cut down. I was actually expecting it to take all day but they arrived in mass (5 or 6 guys) and had all the cutting, chipping and clean up done in less than 2 hours. Everything looks great and they did a great job cleaning up.

Their service was excellent. They were here when they said they were going to be here. And they were done when they said they would be done. They were very accommodatiing and hardly left a trace of being here. They came out quickly for the estimate. We were just very satisfied. Their price is fair.

They did what they said they were gonna do. Fair price. I was impressed.

They were prompt to give me an estimate and when I hired them they were here the next day and were done in about an hour and a half. They were very professional and treated us as they would like to be treated. The entire team worked well together. They did a great job on the clean up. I highly recommend this company.

Oakland Arbor care was very responsive. They actually did the work the same day they gave our business the quote. Job was done to our satisfaction and workers cleaned up after they were done.

It was very good. They were chosen from 3 other bidders because they were the most pleasant to work with and were very open and easy to talk to. The cost was in the middle, so they weren't the least expensive but they had the best value and were the best on schedule. Their follow up was great as well. They called after each day to make sure I was satisfied with the work. They also called to remind me that the grinder was coming before they came back, so their follow-up was even better than I would have expected. They were so good that I asked them to give a quote for my mother-in-law who lives across the street from me.

They were very professional and very friendly. They did an excellent job and went above the call of duty by sawing some of the wood to fit my wood burner. They cleaned up extremely well and I would definitely use them again. I would highly recommend them.

Last month, there was a flyer hanging on our door from Steve at Arbor Care. He noticed the tree while working in the neighborhood and wanted to talk to us about cutting it down. He offered us a great price (half off for off season work!). We said yes and he was there the next day bright and early. Chopped it down, removed the stump and cleaned up the mess. We referred Oakland Arbor Care to a neighbor who later came over and thanked us. They were happy with the work also!

Steve Collier was very nice to work with. The crew was reliable, did a nice job.

It went very well. They did what they said they were going to do within the timeframe I was given. They did a great job with the work and clean-up.

They did a wonderful job. Very professional, very polite, explained what they were doing, and very accommodating. He definitely knew the different types of trees that were in our backyard. And gave recommendations on how the trees need to be trimmed.

They were there promptly at 8 am, completely removed the tree and cleaned up. They were there for about 2.5 hours with 7 guys. They have a great crew. They are really outstanding guys, I can't say enough good about them.
