EXPERT PAINTING & MAINTENANCE

They gave us a quote and then we went with their work. When it came time to pay they said they did a lot of extra work and charged us about $800 more than the original quote was for. The owner of the company was very rude and actually assaulted my grandfather. My grandfather was paying for it because it was a gift to me and my wife. When my grandfather got the quote it was actually very detailed as to what they were going to do. When the painting was done he gave my grandfather the final bill and it said that they did extra patchwork which they did not do. They boosted a bunch of other stuff and my grandfather said he was not paying them for that and that he was paying for the original quote that I authorized you to do. So then the guy put his hands on my grandfather to try to pull him into the kitchen. I immediately rushed him out of my house and he said not to do this to him. It was a mess and was seconds away from the cops being called.

I would NEVER use this company again. While the actual painter was outstanding, the owner of the company was dishonest & unscrupulous. The end bill was $1600 more than the original estimate. He chocked it up to having to do more repair work than he originally thought, but the only real damage was in 1 bathroom. If someone uses this company, I would just say beware hidden charges. He will goad you into buying new bathroom hardware, then he charges you to install it. BTW, he charges $40/hr for that sort of work, but it took him almost four hours to install two toilet paper holders and three towel rings. The company's only painter (I was told he had three painters when he gave me the estimate) does great work, so if you do use this company, my advice would be to only have them paint and not let the owner convince you to let them do other things for you. He felt he was fair, saying he has overhead and even suggested the time he gave me the estimate was time I should be paying for!

I'm using them again.

THEIR ESTIMATE WAS HIGH BUT THE QUALITY OF THE WORK THEY DID WAS WORTH IT. THEY HAD FIVE GUYS GETTING THE JOB DONE AND THEY FINISHED IN ONE DAY. THEY ALL DID AN EXCELLENT JOB AND I HAVE RECOMMENDED THEM NUMEROUS TIMES.
