If you are unfortunate enough to find yourself in the need of appliance repair services, I highly recommend that you call Mr. Moss. He is extremely responsive, professional, and the kind of person you feel comfortable having in your home. I found him to be of high integrity and honest. I would not have found him without checking Angies list. My initial call to him was at 9:45 AM on a Saturday morning. His day was already scheduled, yet he managed to get to me around 6:00PM. As soon as he arrived I was handed a business card to confirm who he was. Within minutes he had diagnosed the problem with the refrigerator. A part had to be ordered. Monday he was back with the part and the refrigerator was purring like a kitten. On Monday I had a light bulb moment and realized that he might repair stoves as well. The broiler had been out of commission for awhile and I had not bothered with it as we used the outside grill. Now would be a good time to get that repaired as well. This is the part that assures me of his integrity and honesty. He was able to get the part number an pricing from our local parts resource in a timely and cost effective manner. As a side note I want to make sure that any home appliance owner with Kenmore appliances is aware that they do NOT have to order replacement parts from Sears Parts Dept. I had an EXTREMELY disappointing experience trying to obtain the part number and pricing of the replacement part from Sears. Working with Mr. Moss was a much more favorable experience.

I left a message on Friday morning and Mr. Moss returned my call that afternoon. I explained my problem and he said that he was able to come out Saturday afternoon to replace the belt. He called around 1 and was here by 1:30. He got to work right away and was done in about 2 hours, the dryer is old and it wasn't as easy to work on. The dryer works normally again and Mr Moss even cleaned up the dryer. I will definitely use and recommend Speedway to anyone need repair work.

Mr. Moss repaired my refrigerator and washing machine (which happened to break down at the same time). He was very professional and delivered high quality work. He will definitely be my first call I have a major appliance repair.

The gentleman was pretty awesome. I just contacted him. He came out and he did excellent work. I found him on Angie's List. The price I paid was with a ten percent coupon from Angie's List. He was just a gentleman. He was friendly and knew his work. He came in and had the part I needed in the truck. I would say it was a little pricey, but I don't know the average. The quality was excellent. His responsiveness and punctuality were very good. His professionalism was excellent.

I found them on Angie’s List. Mr. Moss did a fabulous job. I paid $180 for his services. He was on time, professional and knew what he was doing. He assessed the situation and decided that he needed to order parts. He was back within a week after ordering the parts and he didn’t charge me until he finished the job. He was very good. His prices are fair and he is competent. He is on time and always calls you back. If you leave a message, he is very good about calling you back. He is reliable and I would definitely use his services in the future too.

I had I made an apointment with Mr.Moss for evaluating my water dispenser in my GE side by side refrigerator where the water stream was getting clogged up and reduced to a trickle. He arrived on time and was very courteous and professional. He throughly inspected the water line and diagnosed a problem with the intake valve. He gave me an estimate of $150 + parts. . He returned back in a few days and changed the water valve and filter after which the stream was restored. I was impressed with his thorough evaluation of the problem and the methodical manner in which he evaluated and fixed the issue. Additionally, he cleaned my compressor. I gave me the 15% discount. Overall, he provided excellent service.

After reviewing Angie's List, I called Mr. Moss on 10-4-11 and made an appointment for 10-6-11. My washing machine's spin cycle was not operating. Mr. Moss called me on the morning of the service date and let me know he was coming. He arrived in good time and after asking questions about my washer problem got right to work. After disassembling the washer he told me that there was a broken bearing which might be the cause and told me it would be about $145 to fix (including the 15% off coupon). He also warned me that the broken bearing may not be the cause of the problem, and that if that didn't work there might be some other issue that would incur further expense. He advised me if that was the case, it might be better to purchase another washer. Mr. Moss waited patiently while I called my husband for the ok to do the repair. Thank God the replaced bearing fixed the problem and the spin cycle operated as it should. He was here less than an hour and was very courteous and professional. The actual final cost was $153 but he knocked it down to $150. I was glad I didn't have to buy another washer, so I feel that it was money well spent. I would highly recommend Mr. Moss for appliance repair.

Mr. Moss was the only one I called on a Friday afternoon that was willing to stop by on a Friday evening to determine the problem. He was able to troubleshoot the actual problem with my dryer and get it working again Friday evening. He recommended another replacement part, which he was able to get and install by the following Monday morning. He was upfront about the costs.

Mr. Moses Moss has been wonderful. We had a washing machine that was leaking. It was being stubborn and would leak on me. He came out and we could not find the leak. He came out once and charged his fee. We got 15% off for being the members on Angie's List. He told us to call him when that happened again and he would see if he could come out right at that moment depending on where he was. So, we did and he said that he would come out in half an hour. I had to wipe it up as it was leaking through my basement. He came out again and we could not find the leak. He ran the machine four times. It has not leaked again. He did not charge us for that. He told us to call him again if that happened. He was very sweet and responsive. He was very professional. He was very neat and clean.

Called Mr. Moss on 09/06/2011 regarding my side by side fridge. The cold food section was getting to cold and freezing my milk/fruits/veggies ect. He asked me the make, model and serial number and said he would come out the following day between 12-3. True to his word he called and advised me he would arrive about 1:00 pm. Mr. Moss thoroughly inspected, tested and cleaned the operating components and replaced a defective thermostat board all in the same service call and gladly applied the 15% off coupon that was listed on this website. My fridge has been working perfectly since the repair and I can honestly say that my experience with Speedway was first class from start to finish. Well done Speedway!

I called Mr. Moss and left a message after hours because my refrigerator had died. I also called a few others I had found on the internet and in the yellow pages. Mr. Moss was one of only two who returned my call, and he did so that same evening. I was able to set up an appointment with him within 48 hours. When he came to do the repair he was very pleasant and professional, as well as informative. The problem was the refrigerator motor, which he replaced for what I feel was a very reasonable price. I am happy to recommend him, and will surely call him again when I need repairs to any of my other major appliances. Look no further - in the Detroit area, he's the guy.

I found Speedway Refrigeration on Angie's List. I selected this company because the ratings for this company were all "A's". Mr. Moses did not disappoint. I was extremely happy with the service provided. If there can ever be a positive experience from your refrigerator breaking down, this was it. I was extremely happy with the services provided by Mr. Moses.

Called Mr. Moss in the a.m., he informed me he would try to come out that same day. I informed him someone would be home. He called back later in the afternoon and stated he could make it within 45 minutes. He arrived promptly as stated and was very courteous and professional at all times. He went right to work, diagnosing the problem and taking care of it, explaining everything as he went along the way.

Mr. Moss came when he said he would. He quickly assessed the problem and did the repairs. He was very personalable and knowledgable. It was $65 to just have him come out (which was on par with others I called) and that went toward the cost of the repair. He was great. Highly recommend.

He was prompt. He came the first time and recognized what he needed; he had to get some parts. It was the refrigerator that needed repair; so he went out of his way to get here. He was back first time in the morning to put the parts that needed to fix. He was reasonable as well.

When I called Mr. Moss about my elderly mom's refrigerator problem he was very professional and took the time to discuss the matter. As busy as he is with customers, he was able to come out earlier than anticipated to my mom's home in Farmington Hills. He said that if we were willing, he would come out in the evening after the last scheduled service call that he had! His willingness to come out late to help my mom was appreciated! He was very kind and professional. He tried what he could to repair the refrigerator and replaced a few parts, but the compressor was crazy hot from overworking and needed to cool down. After waiting and trying to cool it down after an hour, he mentioned that he would be back in the morning to check on it if it was ok with my mom. He came back the next day as promised, but unfortunately the compressor was shot. Since I wasn't at my mom's home the next day, he called me and provided status of the issue. He provided an honest assessment and shared that the compressor could be replaced, but it would be more cost effective at that point to buy a new refrigerator vs. dumping money into the old one. He accepted the Angie's List coupon that my mom provided, and for 2 visits to my mom's home, his time, and some parts that he replaced (relays of some type), the cost was extremely fair! When it was all said and done, he also thanked my mom and I for our business. His honesty, professionalism, work ethic and fairness are greatly appreciated! Without hesitation, I would do business with him again, and recommend him to friends! Thank you Mr. Moss for your help!

Mr. Moss came out to my house, but called ahead as agreed upon, so I could meet him and minimize my time lost from work. He is courteous, clean and prompt. I had a GE refrigerator that had a freezer temperature control that was not working and he fixed it in short order. The refrigerator door would not seal and he fixed that by removing the door, examining the hinges and getting it to close properly. I had a gas stove that would not quit sparking the ignitor when the gas was turned down low. He examined it and took a wire brush to the bottom of the cap to the burner and fixed the annoying sparking. He recommended that a shim for the door hinge be purchased and installed. He ordered the part by phone on the spot, and made an appointment to return and install it. He showed up for the followup appointment at the appointed time and installed the shim. All in all, I highly recommend him for all of your appliance repairs.
