The owner made the firsr call on 7/18/12. he was prompt and courteous.He was pretty fast and found out the problem quick.He replaced the thermo unit. He did 30 min.work and charged me $143.58 including coupon.i thought it was kind of high.he made the the second service call on8/2/02.This time it was the frig. I told him the frig was not cold enough and it was not making any ice. he was promt.he came the same day. He told me the fan was not working.He replaced the fan.He vacuumed the air filterthen he left.the whole job was done in 45 min top.He charged me $ 292.83.He gave no breakdown of the bill.He said he charged by the job.In other words,he charged anything he feels like. For the coupon,his explanation was "I did not charge you things I did" but he did not do anything else. he left. the frig is still not making ice.I am afraid to call him back.God know how much he wii charge me for the " JOB".BUyer Beware!!!!!!!!!!

I have a Sub Zero refrigerator that was not running correctly. The compressor was running very hot, and the freezer was not staying as cold as it should. The refrigerator was running normal. It turns out the only real issue was that the fan (all located on top of the unit) was not clean enough. It took more than just a vacuum to get it clean. In any case, my cleaning job was not good enough. Mr. Moss did an excellent job cleaning in out, and then also adjusted the Freon levels. The job took about an hour and a half. I wasn't extremely happy about being charged $180 in labor for less than 2 hours of work, but my refrigerator seemed to be working fine. There was also $62 in parts, but I'm not sure what part, since the only part needed was a little Freon. My real issue started the next day when I noticed frost in my refrigerator. Remember, that side was running fine prior to the above work. I also started noticing the temp rising, and no matter what I set the thermostat to, the temp wouldn't drop to where it needed to be. I ended up calling a different company for service (Sub Zero recommended - Not listed in Angie's) to have it inspected. It turned out that the evaporator had a leak in it, as well as the compressor pump not working correctly. I also needed the thermostat replaced. Bottom line, another $1200 out of my pocket, But hey... it's finally working right! I would have gave an F here, but I'll cut Mr. Moss some slack. Was it just a coincidence the refrigerator side started having issues the day after he worked on the unit? Maybe it was only a matter of time, but my guess is that when the Freon was adjusted it was not done right. But I know nothing about refrigeration units, so maybe that thought is way off-base. Take what you like from this. As I mentioned, maybe it was inevitable that the second set of issues manifested. My only advice is that if you have a Sub Zero refrigerator, go with their recommended service companies. That info can be found on the Sub Zero website.

My washer had completely stopped and Mr. Moss came in and diagnosed the problem and fixed it in the same day. My children were leaving the next day and he fit me in his schedule so that I could have them ready for the trip. He was very honest about the condition of the washer and if I should make the repair or replace the machine. I would definitely use him again.

I called early on Saturday, spoke with the repair man and he stated he might not be able to make it out today. He called again a couple hours later letting me know he could arrive that day. He showed up on time and corrected the problem within an hour.

He is great and responsive; he returns my calls right away and comes as soon as he possibly can. He is very polite, professional and gets the job done. It was pricey.

He is just great. We have used him many times in the past. Excellent communication. I consider him very trustworthy, and trust his opinion as well.

Mr. Moss showed up on time, evaluated the dryer efficiently, and replaced the sensor (he had one on his truck, so he was able to do this immediately). He spent considerable time vacuuming accumulated lint out of all areas of the dryer and the vent pipe and wiping the surfaces clean. He was friendly, capable, and very professional throughout his service call, and explained what he was doing as he worked. I plan to call him for any future appliance repairs, and would recommend him without reservation.

Fast service. Was able to come out same day and fix the problem.

Speedway Refrigeration is awesome!!! I called them to schedule an appointment to have my Sub-Zero dual compressor refrigerator repaired since it was not keeping food cold on the refrigerator side (freezer worked fine). I had a pretty desperate need since it was hot outside, and my food was spoiling due to lack of refrigeration. Mr. Moss, the owner of the company, came out an fixed my problem. He did what a competitor of his could not. He is good at what he does and has a great personality. I will definitely use them again! And by the way, this company was able to squeeze me in for an appointment faster than originally scheduled. They go out of their way to service customers needs.

He is very honest and gave me a $34 discount for being an Angie's List member.

I called Saturday around noon. He told me he was booked, and that he probably would not be able to make it until Monday. Later that Saturday, around 6:00, he called and asked if I'd still like him to take a look. When he didn't have the right part was back on Monday to get it fixed. He was very courteous, professional and patient while my three year old peppered him with questions.

Called to make an appointment. Was given a 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm window. I took 3 hours off from work. Called at 2 pm to tell them I needed to go back to work and they claimed no record of my appointment. Could not figure out what could have happened. Was very apologetic, but I am going to call someone else with better business practices in place. Also, does not answer phone with business name, rather just a hello.

Dryer not heating up. Moss came out the same day to perform the services. Moss was very professional and explained the problem and the solution.The coil over the burner was replaced. He had the dryer heating up in less than 1 hour. I would use this company again.

Moses did a great job saving our refrigerator! He replaced the motor, did an overall service of the entire fridge, and now it runs like new. This is our second time having him provide service (previously fixed a dryer). Great service provider.

Was supposed to come between 10:00 to 12:00, but called at 1:30 PM that he will come after half an hour. Clean out one of the gas burners of the stove. Took him not more than 15 minutes. Our over-the-range microwave was also not warming food. He put a cup of water inside, run it for few seconds, and concluded it was not worth fixing it. He told he will not charge anything for the microwave. not to mention he has not done anything on it. Charged $110 with Angies coupon (15%) reduced to $93. Way too expensive for our job.

Overall everything went as one would expect it to go. Would call them again.

Professional, courteous, old school, didn't waste time. Mr. Moss is a one-man operation, but he's everything you want from an alliance repair service. Diagnosed and fixed the problem with no problems.

This is the first time we have been using them. We just became acquainted with Angie’s List. Overall, we have had a pleasant experience with the guy. It looks like he is doing all the right things. His responsiveness has been very good. He has worked with us. We have had some issues with when he could come between his schedule and ours. He has been very cooperative about that. We will use them again in the future.

So, far refrigerator is working and no leaks can be found.

Mr Moss is exactly what you hope for when you call somebody to perform a service at your house. He's friendly, looks and acts professional, arrives on-time, does the work (aka. solves the problem), and cleans up. I would highly recommend him for appliance repair work in your home. We really wanted our dryer repaired the same day we called, approx 2 pm. He told us he'd try and fit us in at the end of the day, and he called around 6:30 to let us know he'd be coming...GREAT...he was in/out by 8 p.m., and we had a dryer that worked again, and a major fire hazard avoided.

Mr Moses had a personal touch and was responsive. He had good quality work and a fair price.

Excellent service! I called and left a voice mail for Mr Moss at around 2pm. He responded to my voice mail in less than 30 minutes. Initially he said he wouldn't be able to fit me in until the next morning, but would let me know if he got a cancellation for the same day. He called back less than an hour later and let me know he would come by in about 20 minutes. Upon arrival, Mr. Moss quickly diagnosed the issue. He had a replacement part on hand, so he was able to fix everything in one visit. Very friendly guy. He even threw in a replacement bulb in the fridge as mine had burned out! No more than 2.5 hours elapsed from my first call to him leaving my house! I don't have enough background in such repairs to say whether 240 was a good price, but I was happy to pay it for such great service. Will definitely call on Mr. Moss in the future. Jake

I called Mr. Moss on Thursday morning and he came later that day and made the repairs to the dryer. He was very nice, courteous, and professional. Even though it was getting late, he stayed until the job was done. Quality work and a good work ethic. I would definitely hire him again.
