I hired Mike's Door Svc after shopping around for a replacement garage door. The man who came out to take the measurements noticed details that others did not. He also came back with the most competitive price. The installers came out and were very efficient with their work; I could tell that both had a lot of experience. The door required extra trim to accommodate the leaning of the building and the owner of the company came back out afterwards to complete the trim work. The door, weatherstrip, trim, and caulk is all color matched and looks great! The door also works well! Overall my experience was top notch. Of the five people I interacted with at Mike's Door Service, everyone was attentive to my concerns, courteous, and friendly. I will be using them in the future for replacement storm doors and recommend to anyone in the market.

Other companies quoted replacing the entire door at a cost of $1,000. Mike's Door Svc suggested a much more cost effective repair and completed during the initial visit. Would definitely use again.

Mike came and installed a kitchen door that goes to my garage. My old door was not a standard door and it never shut completely. Mike was able to give me a door that shuts now and looks great. I was so impressed with how he was able to give me the door that I love. I would definitely use them again. If anyone needs doors, this is the company to use. Again, thanks Mike.

Had to wait about 4-5 weeks for the door to come in, but the initial visit was prompt. Mike (not the owner) was very professional and punctual. The work itself was done quickly and very professionally. He was very meticulous and even refused to let me take his trash bag -- stated he never leaves trash at any job. Will be happy to use them for any door or garage door work in the future. Overall, a great experience.

The estimate appointment and install appointment both went very well. The representative was professional, punctual and knowledgeable. One of the main reasons I went with Mike's door service is because the estimate was given by the installer. We were able to talk about interface with the flooring (which will be replaced later) and other issues being an older home. The install went smoothly, everything was cleaned up and I am very happy with my new door. Mike's door service also followed up with a thank you and encourages clients to call with any concerns in the future if a problem arises. I also am a young female homeowner and have felt sometimes representatives are condescending towards me, and this was absolutely not the case with Mike's. I was very pleased with their service.

The installation went extremely well. Work was done on time and Mike cleaned up afrer door was installed. He protected my ceramic floors so no damage would incur. Mike is very courteous and pays attention to all details of his work.. I would highly recommend Mikes Door service. He also installed a back door for me fifteen months ago. because of the excellent service provided to me I went and order my new front door from them. Do not hesitate to use them. Mike came to our home to see what we had and provide answers to any and all questions we had. He also took time to explain the different type of doors, color options, etc etc... He was very was very thorough from the initial visit, to the quote up till my doors were installed. Mike himself came and did the install also, his attention to detail was one of a kind. He took his time to ensure the install was done correctly and also took his time to run me through everything once he was done. I am very pleased and happy with the service I was provided by Mike and his staff. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!

Based on Angie's List reviews, contacted Mike's Door Service in mid-August to see about installing a new door in our laundry room. An actual person (Marilyn) answered the phone - no computer, no voice mail - how refreshing!! That itself was a big plus. Set up an appointment to have someone come out to give us an estimate. Mike Jessen arrived on time. His proposal was reasonable for a fiberglass entry door with insulation, a window blind between the panes of glass, and antique brass door knob and deadbolt to be keyed to our existing door. The installation was done by Mike on 10/16/14. What a nice young man - very knowledgeable and personable. We couldn't be more pleased with everything, from the beginning of the process to the actual installation. The door itself is beautiful, with a nice finished look to it. What a great experience this was!!

This company is the best I have ever worked with from the installers thru the office staff. When Mike came to quote us for the doors he made sure we understood every step of the process and that we were happy with our choices. Everyone went above and beyond to answer our questions and work around what was convenient for us. We really feel what we paid for all of these doors was worth every penny considering the service we received.

They came when they said they would and did a great job!

I was recommended to Mike's by mother who had used them in the past for her garage door. When I called to have the door looked at I was told that they would call me back with when they would be able look at the door. The gentle man who answered was extremely nice and called me the next day which happen to the day after the 6 hour rain we had. He told me that someone would be out on Friday to look at the door. On Friday I receive a call from a nice young man telling me he was at my home. I told him I was there, but that he could look at the door since it was easy to access. within a hour he called me back telling me he had fixed the door and that I would need a new garage door opener in the future, but it was usable. When I asked how much it cost he said $100. I asked if I could stop by their office when I got off work and he said it wasn't a problem I called a couple of hours later to the company just to make sure I heard him correctly say $100 the gentle on the phone said he would check and that if it was different he would call me back. I went to office when I got off work an the gentleman and lady that were there were some of the nicest people I've ever met they allowed me to use my debit card and told me that it would be charged until Monday since the lady who normally handles that was on vacation. I told them how my mother loves their company and they said they try their best. I highly recommend Mikes for your garage service they are the best and nicest.

Mike did an amazing job. We got four different bids and the price was the same on all of the bids. Mike was the estimator and installer. Mike was very professional and responsive to our needs. Mike kept in touch with us as our order was going through and we were waiting. Mike cleaned up after himself. It was a great experience.

We had a steel door that was hard to close. He was able to fix it, and the door is working beautifully. There is also a one year warranty included on the service. I thought the price was a little high, but we received the same quote from another company as well.

After receiving a catalog and other information from Mike, a salesperson/installer at Mike's Door Service, it took me weeks to decide on the type of entry door I wanted and whether I wanted one or two entry doors. I had several questions over the course of those weeks. Mike was very patient and answered all of my questions. The installation went very well. I'm pleased with the results. Very professional service and the work area was left very clean. Mike even cut, finished, and installed a piece of shoe molding to finish the job. I wouldn't hesitate to call on this company again.

Door Fell off Tracks and lost 2 wheels, was close to falling completely off. They came out and fixed door, and recommended some normal maintenance, and that opener is old, but did not need replaced unless we wanted it. Suggestions were for safety as it does not have any optical sensors which are now required by law.

doors were installed leading into the porch. one door was a french door the other a single door. we have an much older home and that requires extra work to make standard doors fit properly. mike did that without a problem.

Very, very good all the way around. They did get back to us when they put the storm doors in, they were responsive, they were professional and I would hire them again should the need arise. If we need a new garage door or something, I would go with them certainly.

It was great. They came quickly, you don't have to wait for a day and they answered my calls right away. They were prompt, quick and efficient. They were here when they said they were going to and they cleaned up.

We got another bid from a competitor who wanted to charge us 4x more. They said it couldn't be repaired but had to be replaced. Mike's Door Service repaired the door and now it works great! We would highly recommend Mike's!

It went well. The original company that did the service messed it up. He came in and fix the garage door and rehung it. It turned out really well.

It was good. They came when they said they were going to come so they were prompt and the garage door seems to be holding up. So right now I have no bad things to say.
