Description of Work: Mike came to our home, looked at our three entry doors and gave us options based on each door opening. We had many questions and visited the showroom many times. Both Marilyn at the show room and Mike who handled the sale and installed the doors answered all of our questions. They were very patient and professional. Mike installed all three doors and had many challenges based on previous installations. Mike problem solved as he went along and made sure the doors fit properly. He reinstalled the trim and even cut and stained a part needed for our front entry door. A portion of plaster came out during installation and Mike came back to repair the plaster. We are extremely pleased with Mike's skills and attention to detail. He and Marilyn were very easy to work with. We highly recommend this company. One concern is the door we ordered from Lumbermen's that has a camber shaped window. The window is located very high on the door and affects the appearance. We are not pleased and are in the process of contacting Lumbermen's. This concern is not related to Mike's Doors sales and service.

Description of Work: Garage door was off track, when asked about replacing I was told there was no need...things would work fine when he was done....and they did. It was refreshing to have an honest repair company I would recommend and use again

Description of Work: One of the installers at the company, a gentleman also named Mike, came in and quoted the repair of what had been an absolute disaster left by a different and poorly chosen contractor. It included removing and reinstalling both the front door and the garage entrance door, as well as completely replacing the back door. His prices were very reasonable, and his work was top notch. We've done a lot of remodeling over the last year, and he was certainly one of the best contractors we had the pleasure of working with.

Description of Work: New insulated garage door

Description of Work: Mike's Door Service is a dealer/installer for overhead garage doors. Recently we looked at all of the big-box doors and chose the door that Mike represents. It's a Canadian brand with extr-heavy duty rails and insullated panels. The door was installed on a timely basis and worked fine. Several months later we observed that our insullation seems to be disintegrating and covering our cars with a white powder. Mike came out, took some pictures and ordered a brand-new door. it took a little longer to get it but they came out a the appointed time and put on the new door, which works fine.

Description of Work: my garage door wouldn't go down after checking the photoeyes. I called the company and they came over that afternoon. Turns out a box was blocking the photoeye. The guy didn't just leave after that little bit, he took the time to tweek how the door closed and set up the built in homelink openers in 2 cars for me which i couldn't figure out myself. They went the extra mile for me.

Description of Work: Fiberglass door replacement painted one color inside and another outside, forever finish entrance handle set in Antique Satin, dead bolt, steel frame. He also keyed the door to match the other doors to my house and garage. Then he oiled the overhead door (garage) springs and told me it should be done 2 or 3 times a year.
