John and his team were excellent. From the quality of their work - including redoing a days worth of work to readjust the stone stairs -- to their professionalism and promptness. They were on time, on budget and responsed to our feedback. They even cleaned up each day before leaving, including sweeping the driveway! We highly recommend them !

Beautifully. Entryway is gorgeous and includes a built-in planter; walkway looks like new again (all pavers pressure washed before being relaid and new polysand added) and the lighting looks perfect; concrete driveway is perfect. All the work was done in a week, which was incredible. Team was always on time, worked very efficiently and kept the job site organized/clean. Job was well supervised.

Show some respect and reply either way to people interested in your services. Maybe it's because I said it was a small job...? Ice got a lot of money to spend and it's good anywhere.

We definitely would consider Antonelli's if we need any landscaping needs as they went out of their way to help us even though we could not be helped by their services.

Excellent work, punctual team of workers. Foreman on job full time. Arrived like clockwork every day, worked hard and informed me each step of the way. Went much easier than I thought due to their experience.

From our initial meeting with Jim to the final walkthrough, this was a great experience. We knew what we wanted our backyard patio and landscape to look like but always had trouble properly articulating the design. We figured we would need to meet with multiple companies in order for someone to understand our vision. Turns out, Antonelli's was it. Jim came out to our house, listened to our ideas and came up with a design that perfectly captured what we were looking to do. From start to finish, Jim was always available to discuss all of our questions and was quick to come up with solutions when necessary. The crew assigned to our job was incredibly hard working and courteous. Most importantly, the finished product was more than we could have expected and we could not be happier. Antonelli's attention to detail and professionalism cannot be overstated. We are already looking for to the spring when we can hire Antonelli's again to install pavers along our driveway. Highly recommended!

Jim Antonelli came to discuss requirements prior to providing an estimate. He reviewed the estimate and made all the changes we requested without adding cost increases for every item. When Jim became aware of our timing requirements (needed completion prior to senior graduation open house), he worked to make sure our job was scheduled to meet this date, even though they were scheduling beyond our date. The Antonelli crew that came to perform the work started promptly every day at 8:00 am, were professional and just genuinely nice people. Jim came out almost every day to review the work and see if there were any questions and was responsive to any phone message questions left for him. When the crew was finished, they cleaned up after themselves, even power washing the driveway that had dirt from the machinery. All in all, Antonelli Landscaping provided a quality product with a reasonable cost and impeccable customer service. I would recommend Antonelli's and will use them for future projects.

They were very busy this year, but they came and gave an estimate timely. They used a quick and good way to determine what exactly we wanted. They provided their web site with many of their completed jobs and we found exactly what we wanted. The men that worked on the project did an excellent job and cleaned the area before they left. The project was reasonably priced and we got what we paid for.

We first met with there landscape designer in June, 2014. We worked with him on our vision and liked what they presented to us. We put a deposit down in June. Our work wasn't started until late September, but we were fine with the delay. We understood that they were busy and we had waited to book until mid summer. I would suggest contacting them in the early spring if you are interested in having work done in the summer months. There employees were all very hard working and professional. We did have a few issues with the lighting installation but it was taken care of immediately. I would highly recommend Antonelli's. Our designer, Mark Sanberg, was great to work with and always professional, answered any questions we had and always addressed our concerns. John Antonelli came out as the job was nearing completion and made sure everything was done to our satisfaction. On the office side, Shelly was availabe to help when we had questions about our start date, etc. We absolutely love our new porch and landscape. It is a beautiful addition to our home and we would hire them again!

The best Landscape Company!!! This is one of the best companies I have ever dealt with and I?m going to recommend them to everyone that needs a patio or landscape done. They were extremely professional, patient, and helpful through our whole experience. Jim was great with the whole design process and always made sure we were happy. We had a 3 level patio done with an outdoor kitchen and front walkway and porch. They were all incredibly polite and helpful every step of the way. They always showed up on time and worked hard throughout the day! If you want an honest estimate and authentic work, this is the company to choose! Every step of the way they explained everything they were doing . The patio came out unbelievable and we got compliments from our whole neighborhood. Thank you to the Antonelli group!!!!

Late start but job completed very nicely. Bid was higher than other companies, but we relied on Angie's List reviews & results are very good.

First of all, Jim Antonelli is a very good listener. When we first met to describe to him what we wanted, he listened, made notes, and remembered everything we said. We had pictures of what we liked. He was instantly able to see how the pictures could fit in our space. When he came back with the quote it encompassed everything we had mentioned. He recommended we drive over to the Unilock facility in Brighton to see the different kinds of pavers in different colors in small vignettes around the property. That helped us to decided on a paver type and color. He recommended we bury our downspouts, which so far we love. He responded to my concern that our buried cable would be covered over after the terrace was built, and he helped us to run the cable through conduit so if it gets cut at some point in the future we can replace the cable without having to dig up the pavers. On day one of construction he responded to my desire that the border around the house not be made up of straight lines. He got out his spray paint and drew an aesthetically interesting border of different shaped curves. Jim's two-man crew worked for 5 days on the terrace doing some really back-breaking work. They were there on time each day and worked so hard -- other than a lunch break they simply never stopped. They were amazing. The attention to detail was everything that we hoped it would be. Making sure the slope of the terrace would allow for runoff, and that the sitting wall was level, to making sure all of the polymeric sand was brushed off properly (an important step), to cleaning up when they were done, -- no detail was too small. The last day there were three or four of them who really poured it on to finish the border by mid day, so they could leave us to enjoy the terrace on a pretty Saturday afternoon. We have now had a couple of months to enjoy our terrace and it is everything we hoped it would be and more. When we get home from work we enjoy a cocktail or glass of lemonade sitting on the terrace in comfortable lounge chairs and enjoying our yard. Our extended family and guests have loved to come over and spend time out there before grilling a dinner. Our grill now has a nice home. In all it is beautiful and we love it. The purpose of this review is to let potential customers know that Jim Antonelli has a stand-up company focused on customer satisfaction. I would use him again in a heartbeat (and probably will). Thank you Jim; thanks too to the office staff and the crew. Great job!

Very quick from destruction to completion. Super good crew that were professional and pleasant. Very few issues, but crew boss was flexible on work arounds. Clean up was done well. Power washed driveway that was used as mustering area. Stayed off neighbors property and worked hours that were not disturbing.

We had a design and quote for complete front and back yard for our brand new house. In the end we selected another company but we found Antonelli very accommodating and easy to deal wtth. It was a difficult choice between the two companies.

They were supposed to come out to give us an estimate, but they didn't show up. When I contacted them, they said they had something else come up and they're going to call me back the next day, but they never did.

John was nice, but the responsiveness is terrible! I called in March to get the jump on the season, but they have not been good getting back to me at all (I've emailed and called).

I like everything. They are wonderful. They are very professional. There is nothing for them to improve on.

Absolutely fantastic people to deal with. Would hire them again without hesitation. In fact, we are planning a much larger landscape job on a new home and intend to contact them again.

Not only were they our better quoted price, but their work was excellent, whether it was performed by their own personnel or by the professionals they subcontracted. Jim Antonelli, the owner, was available and always willing to change our layout when we asked him to, which we did several times. The only concern we have so far is for the grass, but right now we are in the middle of winter and we will have to wait for spring to see full results (seeding occurred in late fall). We would highly recommend them.

Antonelli Landscaping is simply the best in Metropolitan Detroit. We found the company in Hour Magazine's best of Detroit edition. We called three other companies (All Angie's List super service award winners), and nobody came even close. Our experience started with their office staff, extremely professional, and courteous. When Jim came out he was extremely pleasant to work with and very efficient. He had an artist complete a rendering of our design so we knew exactly what it would look like when it was complete. Jim's crew arrived early every morning and worked 6 days a week to complete our project on time and on budget. His crew was extremely neat, courteous, and cleaned up after themselves daily. When it was done it was simply a masterpiece. We are thrilled and I wish that every experience with a contractor was the type you have when you deal with Antonelli Landscaping. Jim made our backyard patio our favorite destination during the summertime. I guarantee if you pick up the phone and call Jim, he will exceed your expectations.

We had Antonelli landscape install a gorgeous brick paver patio with sitting walls. Jim came to our home and after that first meeting, I was pretty sold on using his company. He's extremely friendly, down to earth, and extremely easy to work with. He was very willing to work within our budget constraints and made wonderful inexpensive suggestions to make our patio even better than we could have hoped. And Shelley, his front line associate in the office was amazing to work with as well. She was my "go to" person for any questions. And the crew was very polite, clean, efficient and respectful of our home. Needless to say, I was extremely impressed from start to finish and plan on using Antonelli landscaping again next year for more brick paving and landscaping projects.

This company is great!! I heard it was the best around and I truly believe it after experiencing their work. The initial response was quick. We had little idea of what to do with our yard as first time home owners and Jim helped us put together something beautiful. Great vision. Every person we dealt with on each level was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable and gave a sense that they cared about our project. Any question or need was quickly and adequately addressed. The work crew arrived on time every day and worked all day every day until the project was finished. They were a pleasure to have on our property for two weeks. The end result of our project is absolutely beautiful and better than anything we would have thought up on our own. We feel the quality, materials and workmanship are top notch. We get constant compliments on our patio and people asking for contact info for this company. We plan to hire them again for any and all projects in the future. We thank them for the great job they did for us! Love this company!
