+ 0 moreBetter than we could have imagined!! We would highly recommend this company for any hauling or garbage collection job!!!!
Description of Work: We had a house filled with stuff that my in-laws accumulated for 50 years and now it all had to go. We didn't know what to do and thought we would never get the house cleaned out. We couldn't get a dumpster up the winding drive way. We called Student Haulers and Tim (the owner) responded right away and had a crew of guys over in a day. He also had them come out two more times. These guys were so amazing!!!! They were clean, professional, strong and had a strong work ethic. We couldn't have done it without them. They were fairly priced and worked so hard at completing the job in a timely fashion!

+ -1 moreIt went extremely well. The owner was very quick to respond and they came to haul away the decking the very next day. They were honest and perform the job like they said they would. We were very happy!
Description of Work: The provider hauled away old decking we had just torn down! They were great to work with and did a fantastic job!

Description of Work: I had thought the amount for the pick up would have been much less than what it was. $275.00 for a garbage pick up. Service is hard to quote over the phone without actually seeing the what was going to be disposed of. I would plan differently next time.

Description of Work: I contacted the provider via their website. Initial responses were fast and specific. There was a delay responding to my request to schedule the work. When it was scheduled I was given a 2 hour window, 1:15 into the window I received a call saying their truck had mechanical problems. We rescheduled for the following day, they failed to show up on time. They arrived about 30 minutes after the newly scheduled window of time. The actual work was performed well and the two men who came were polite and responsive.

+ -1 moreI contacted Student Haulers by e-mail over the weekend and received a response on Monday morning. Arranged to be on the schedule on Tuesday, clarified that there were two locations, and thought I made it clear the washer and dryer in storage were in good enough condition to donate, which I understood was possible. As promised, received a call the let me know the truck was on its way. Yard and house debris were removed as requested; proceeded to the storage unit where much to my dismay the washer and dryer were manhandled, dented, scratched and it was obvious they were not headed to be reused. The young man driving the truck was especially polite and helpful. Both young men were courteous and efficient. I just wish the other one hadn't wrecked the washer and dryer. I will definitely use them again, however, as price was worth it.
Description of Work: Removed yard debris and old furniture from my house and cleaned 4 items out of my storage unit.

+ -1 moreTwo guys came the day after I called as scheduled. Called while on their way and were done in all of five minutes. It's a small premium to pay versus what we would be charged to drop off at Best Way, but I don't have to load or haul anything myself. Would definitely use again.
Description of Work: Hauled away one dishwasher, countertop, folding screen, two patio chairs, one bathroom 60" mirror, one ceiling fan, one kitchen light fixture, and shower doors.

+ -1 moreThe advertisement says they are cheaper then have a dumpster sent your house. Wrong...it cost more BUT you do have two men who will do all the labor. So if you have piles of trash every where like we had then it might be good a good deal for you. The problems was they came to my place with a trailer 3/4 full and try to get all my trash into it. When they couldn't they told they would have to leave to empty their trailer which was not a problem. BUT then they want to charge me an extra $60 to come back to pick the rest up. I said NO because they knew how much I had when they did the quoted. It not my problem if they came with an almost full trailer. They did apologized and kept to the quote. The problem is I don't know if the crew made a mistake quoting a new price or the owner told them to hit me up for more money. In all fairness it took 4 man hours to fill the trailer up. It cost me $500. A dumpster would have cost me $400 or so. Will I hire them again? Most likely not and bite the bullet and do the labor myself and rent a dumpster.
Description of Work: We bought a place and it needed some heavy cleaning. We cleaned out a pole barn, potting shed and taken down a wooden fence. So I had four pile of trash around our yard. They came on time, they were very polite, very clean looking and got the job done.

Description of Work: We are getting ready to put our house on the market. I called Student Haulers yesterday, Apr. 5, 2012. They responded quickly, said they would come today, Apr. 6 between 10 a.m. and noon. they were here at 10:30 a.m.; they hauled away a stove, refrigerator, many garden hoses, a weber grill, a smoker, metal, wood, a large and heavy old microwave; a cement bird bath; a cement rabbit (two feet tall and heavy). They swept the garage, moved another birdbath for us and were totally professional, friendly and fast!!! We highly recommend them and would use them again
