The guy continued to call & say he'd be at my house, then call after I waited all morning & say he'd be here in the afternoon & then showed up without calling. Luckily my brother was at my house. He went out to the guy, gave him $300 & told him to take it or leave it. The original VERBAL quote was $400. He dropped it to $350 the day before, because he sensed I was "not happy". He gave my brother some lip about the $300. Brother said, "You've got nothing in writing, be happy you're getting this & walk away. I'm her brother & I've been hearing about this for 3 mos & now today you were supposed to be here this morning & you show up unannounced this afternoon," etc. That's how it ended. I will NEVER hire them again!
Description of Work: I needed some plaster repair done, which was caused by a roof leak, so they worked on both. The job required several visits to my home, at least according to them. I made it clear they needed to notify me of when they'd show up, because I have 3 dogs that I need to lock up. They'd show up early, late or not at all. Sometimes they'd walk right in without knocking or ringing the doorbell. The work still isn't complete & it's been at least a mo. They left some of their materials here too & I haven't paid them yet, either.
