 + -1 moreProfessional rug cleaners does an excellent job. Their pricing is no nonsense--not a different price for stains, or fringe, or hand knotted rugs. No 2 for 1 "deals" or promotional prices. For $35 round trip a very professional crew will show up at exactly the scheduled time to pick up or drop off rugs for cleaning. The crew spends time to place the rugs in the right position and center them on the pad. One $35 fee covers all the rugs you need to clean. I had 2 large hand knotted rugs cleaned. The rugs had stains from pets and spills but they came back clean. I am extremely happy with the results.

 + -1 moreThis was my first time using this company but I thought I would give them a try due to high ratings and close proximity. The work was completed in a week, the rug looked great, they cut a new pad for me on the spot, and I walked away a happy customer. I would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: ProRug is exactly that: a professional rug cleaning service. The owner is himself very knowledgeable about all kinds of oriental carpets: their origin, their history, their knot counts and whether or not they are symmetrically or asymmetrically knotted; the kinds and quality of of wool used in them; the wefts and warps, etc. Also he is personally very professional and polite. Unlike other rug cleaners in the area he does not charge extra for stain removal, nor does he try to pad the bill with bogus charges such as 'anti-bacterial,' pet odor removal, etc. etc. If he thinks he cannot clean your rug or improve it from what has been done to it (because other so-called rug cleaners have brutalized and ruined it) he won't sell you a bill or goods and tell you he can. His place is simple and gritty, in Pontiac, NOT a glossy showroom in Birmingham, but best of all Mr. Baker is honest. What a rare quality!

Description of Work: Cleaned 3 bedrooms a hallway and 4 smaller throw rugs. My carpets were really in need of a deep clean. The guys just left and I cannot believe how clean the carpets look. They also took my 8x10 area rug back to their cleaning facility to better clean it there. One of the owners John can out this morning for the pick up, it is nice to work directly with the owner of a company. I am vey satisfied with the job done today and look forward to see my area rug in a few days.

 + -1 moreThis is an excellent company that I have used for the past 8-10 yrs. They are consummate professionals and experts in the care and maintenance of oriental carpets. They have always been reliable, punctual and their work is outstanding.
Description of Work: Hand washed oriental carpets and did needed repairs by hand. They also cut and installed new pads and took the old pads for several oriental rugs. They picked up and delivered the rugs and pads for a reasonable fee. Their prices are very reasonable for what they do.

 + 1 moreI use them every year. They are great and very reasonable. They do a perfect job. I've been using them for the past 5 or 6 years. They are very nice and professional. The rugs never feel sticky. There never feels like there is a residue left on the rugs. They are busy so sometimes there is a wait to get them out but it is worth the wait. They are awesome. They are coming again next week.

 + -1 moreWe delivered our area rug, were given an accurate estimate on the cleaning and length of time to clean. We picked up the rug in the exact time frame and it was superbly cleaned. Well worth the easy drive to Pontiac.
