Description of Work: Install ice and water shield throughout entire area |Install custom metal pan at the bottom of valley |Leaving 8" of metal pan exposed install shingles to match throughout valley. |Remove and replace fascia wood underneath window on front right side of home near garage. |Remove and replace fascia wood at corner of zero valleys |Replace rotten fascia wood behind gutter above valley area. |paint wood, seal, clean up |Work went well, although they did not have to replace shingles and still, I believe, charged me for the work. |

Description of Work: Climbed on roof and took lots of pictures and tried to convince me I needed new roof. Asked for estimate of one certain roof overhang. Never heard from him again-no estimates or followup.

Hello, We came out and performed the roof tune up. We actually, at no extra cost, temporarily repaired 2 areas that were leaking. One on the porch where an animal had ripped up the roofing material and another one on the electrical mass that was improperly installed. We were not trying to convince you that you need a new roof, you do need one. We followed up with you and you said you would get back with us after you got back in town. Description of Work: Sided our home. Let's just say we read all the Angie's list reviews and chose Grennan. In the end the entire experience was nothing compared to what we read here. Started many weeks after they said they would, didn't show up or call while we sat and waited, didn't bother returning our calls. Who is Grennan? Is this the same contractor you all gave rave reviews about? I am shocked too! The siding job is substandard quality. Pieces are falling off, has holes in it, white boards behind are visible, the seam work is lousy, is there suppose to be chaulk? I am no siding expert but I can tell a lousy job when I see it. I could go on, let's just say we are sorry we hired them. Grenan himself came out to see what we are complaining about and promised they'd fix it... So they were suppose to fix it last Thurs. Or Fri. My husband got a text late Fri. saying they'd be there Monday...not a good feeling.

First and foremost, customer satisfaction is and always has been the cornerstone of Grennan Construction. We have built our business on the referrals of our customers. Your complaint does not sit well with us for a number of reasons; mainly because you are not satisfied, but also because we feel it is unjustly warranted. That being said, please allows me to explain our position in regards to your concerns and displeasure with our services. The agreement for the work that was performed on your home was signed on September 15, 2014. At that time it was explained to you that we had several on-going projects, more in queue, and that yours would be put on the schedule as soon as possible. The project on your home began the second week of November and we worked continuously until it was complete. We did our best to keep you informed during the interim. While we believe that some of the communication during the project could have been better on our part, to say we left you waiting and didn’t bother to return phone calls is simply untrue. As for the quality of the work which you deemed “lousy”, with references to seam work, holes, falling pieces, and visible white boards behind the siding, I’ll refer to your admission that you are not a siding expert and state that we, however, are siding experts. • When we install siding and trim, there are going to be seams and many of them. The purpose of each seam that was of concern to you was explained during our walk around of the home and were deemed “acceptable” by your husband. • With the exception of one small hole where utility lines are connected to your home, there are no other holes in your siding. This hole has since been caulked. • Weather is a large factor for any outdoor project – precipitation, temperatures, etc. We mention this in effort to help explain the reason for the two pieces that came loose. Without going too in-depth explaining the expansion and contraction of vinyl products from temperature changes, that is what caused the two pieces to come loose. The pieces have since been reinstalled. This is one of the reasons we included a guarantee in our agreements. We stand behind our work and will always resolve any issues that may arise after installation. • The white boards are in fact part of the aluminum trim around your windows. What you can see is minimal and it is a necessary part of siding. To eliminate any visible signs of this trim would result in the siding pieces being cut too tight and therefore not allow room for expansion in warmer temperatures. Considering [member name removed] said overall that he was happy with the job and that we have addressed your concerns, we feel the rating you have given us is not reflective of the services we provide.

Description of Work: Full tear off and reroof. |Went as expected. We scheduled the date and weather cooperated to be able to provide services as desired. Fred came by after work was completed and we walked around and inspected the workmanship. I am satisfied with the work performed. Also good to have a company that stands behind and warrants their products (GAF) in case there is an issue down the road.

Description of Work: We kept getting ceiling leaks. Several roof people couldn't solve the problem but Grennan's thought outside the box and detected loose siding. Once repaired our leaks stopped! Bravo!!!

Description of Work: There was not mcuh needed on our roof, but the repair person was a competent "can do" type of person whjo checked and fixed minor imperfections. She (yes,she) even leaned over the edge to align and secure our downspout to the gutter.

Description of Work: I purchased a roof inspection because I have a leak and wanted to find out where it is coming from and how much it would cost to fix. Fred showed up on time and was able to pretty much tell me what the problem is right away. He sent an estimate via email very quickly and due to additional info was able to ammend his estimate again via email very qiuckly. I have not had the work done yet as I am obtaining other estimates, but Grennan is my front runner to hire to do the work.

Description of Work: Fixed a leak in my roof. They attempted to fix it once by putting a new drip edge and cap on my chimney but the leak returned. Fred Grennen himself came out to both estimate the job and when the leak returned and personally fixed it the second time with no charge.

Description of Work: Removed wood fascia trim around an upper flat roof section of our home. Installed copper flashing and air vent flash filters on all four sides. The roof was finished off with new PVC trim. In addition, Grennan removed the existing power vent. |The entire job was handled in a very professional manner, from the initial consultation to the final inspection of the job. They showed up on schedule and completed the work on target. The crew working the job was very professional and did an outstanding job. |I'm extremely particular about how things should be done and hold contractors to a high standard. These guys met all of my expectations. |

Description of Work: Gave the provider a call because my roof was leaking. It took them an entire week to return my call or even get back to me. With a leaky roof this was awful! I even set up an appointment with them, to which they did not arrive at all.
