Grennan Construction

The work was done as promised. It was done on time and with very good quality. The project manager and job foreman were responsive to our needs and did a great job.

He did as promised and took good pictures of the problems. He (Fred) was to email me the cost for repairs. I never got it. I called to inform them I never received an estimate. Still did not get a response. I ended up getting someone else to do the job.

A couple of shingles had slipped off my roof a week or so ago (roof is around 6 and half years old). The original roof service indicated that as the roof was a 5 year warranty, they would charge me for an estimate and then bill me for repair work, this despite them having done the entire roof 6 and half years ago! Some of the roof services were busy and some I suspect were disinterested in a repair job but from my first interaction with Grennan's office, they were courteous and promised to get back. Danielle called me back and set up an appointment. She was very punctual, in fact called me to check if I would be around if she was early, which she was. Danielle is an absolute pleasure to interact with and professional with her work. She brings in a sense of honesty that is refreshing. Both she and her boss Fred (whom she conversed with) were very fair with the charges. She took care of renailing the slipped shingle in that very visit. She also reviewed my attic where a bath exhaust fan was venting into the attic rather than out through the roof and even took some pictures of the wood under the roof. I was offered a reasonable cost for this and other repairs and I hope to hire them again. I have no hesitation in strongly recommending Danielle and Grennan Construction them and hope they continue their wonderful service.

We were very pleased with Fred and his crew. Prompt service, very communicative and was able to match existing shingles even though they are very old. Hard working crew. They did an excellent job!

We are extremely pleased with the 50-year Camelot II roof installed by Grennan Construction. Fred fully explained the work to be performed prior to the project start. Dave and his crew were all very courteous and very careful around our plants and trees during the tear-off and the new roof installation. The work was done in a timely manner and post-installation cleanup was impeccable. I would strongly recommend Grennan Construction for all of your roofing needs.

From my first meeting with Fred, I had the confidence that his team would do an excellent job. I was not disappointed. Fred Grennan is a professional with a talented and experienced team. Being an engineer, I was probably a little higher maintenance than most customers. But Fred and his team were always quick to respond to any of my questions and concerns. He and his team were a pleasure to work with.

In a very timely manner, Fred Grennan came out to provide the $99 Roof Tune-Up and Inspection. A couple weeks later, we had a horrific storm and there was a leak in an upstairs bathroom (from a leaky pipe joint in the attic, we learned). Fred came out again to inspect, and although we learned it was from this leaky pipe joint in the attic, at no additional cost, Fred added a bit more sealant around the outside pipe. On June 30, Danielle called to advise she would be out to install the soffit vents. She arrived on time, worked all day installing new vents, replacing old ones, and cleaning up before leaving. She is focused, hard working, and an absolutely delightful individual. Grennan Construction is very lucky to have someone of her ability working for them. Both Fred and Danielle are consummate professionals, and the most pleasant of people to work with. I highly recommend Grennan Construction; in fact, I have done so already.

They showed up on time, was professional and thorough. I was concerned about a drip I noticed last winter and he was very thorough regarding if there was anything in need of repair. He did inform me that my roof was great shape and I was very impressed that he didn't try to upsell me. He informed that my leak was probably due to plumbing condensation. I would definitely recommend him to others.

He enlightened us to the shortcomings of our past re-roofing. He took pictures of the shortcomings. He showed us that a raccoon had been visiting our roof and that our gutters needed cleaning. No picutures or words that any "tuneup" occurred.

Not being able to do the service was a bummer but Grennan Construction was very nice Maybe in the near feature I can use there services.

Owner came out and was on time and friendly! Inspected the roof and said it looked good and had a few more years before needing to be replaced. Definitely appreciated the honesty! Would use again.

Fred found the problem and fixed it as part of the inspection. Rather than recommend a costly repair, he recommended that we wait until it rains to see if this minor repair worked. If it didn't he could come back and give us an estimate on a more complete repair. I was impressed that he did not try to talk us into a costly repair without trying something else first. If it leaks again in the future we will call him.

The experience was incredibly good. They did it quickly, and it was very well done, in very cold weather. The day they gave me a quote, they said they would do it later in the week, but they did it the very next day, because they said a snow storm was coming. He took a picture of the of the area and put the color and everything right from his vehicle, and that is exactly what they did.

Grennan completed a total roof replacement, tearing off all existing roofing and replacing with a high end roofing product. All work was completed professionally and expeditiously. Fred Grennan, the owner was personally involved in the project and followed up to ensure our total satisfaction.

Contacted four companies from Angieslist and Grennan Construction is the only provider that called me back. Fred called me in the evening and was already booked but arranged to come look at the problem the next day. FrediImmediately identified the problem and started working within 5 minutes of arrival. My kitchen ceiling and living room windows were leaking pretty bad. The removal of the ice dams and snow from the roof almost stopped the leaking immediately. Fred was professional, removing his shoes in foyer before assessing problem areas. He then began working immediately. Gave me a few tips on preventive maintenance going forward and will come back to quote me for the much needed ceiling repair caused by the ice dams. I look forward to using their service again and would highly recommend to anyone experiencing similar issues.

It went great! He was very prompt and cleared off out entire roof that we were having issues with. I thought his pricing was great, especially for the amount of work it took to clear off a few inches of ice build-up. He gave us advice on how to prevent ice dams in the future. He also came over at another time (for free) to check on a few spots that were cracking. We also had him do a "band-aid" to the house we just purchased. I would definitely recommend this company to others!

Fred did a excellent job, he came back the next day to check again and removed some more snow and ice. I would recommend Grennan Construction to anyone. I'm also going to have him quote more work for me this spring. Thanks for the great job and quick response

Fred is a very dependable and honest individual. He even worked with us and our insurance company to make things right. I would use this company again in an instant.

I was told by a repair person (not Grennan)that I had hail damage on my roof. I had a leak coming through in the dining room and so I thought it was from the supposed hail damage. I had Home Depot come out and give a quote, called my insurance agent, and got on Angie's list. I saw the great reviews for Grennan construction and called them also. They were very helpful and we made an appointment for an estimate. My insurance agent could not see hail damage so I thought I was going to have to pay for a roof. (7,900.00 according to Home Depot, who never went on the roof to check for damage) Grennan came out and told my that I didn't need a new roof and for $20.00 fixed some holes that were there from a cable. Probably from the cable company from years ago. They were so nice and professional. I would definitely use them in the future.

I was extremely pleased and proud of their work. After vetting many companies, I am glad I chose them. I will be hiring them soon to install gutter guards of some sort.
