Everything went great. Service went off without a hitch and they were willing to replace lost shingles on roof--other companies would not do at all since it wasn't a big job. Great company to work with

The service man was quite professional in manner and appearance. The cleaning of the gutters was not to the usual standard I am accustomed to having. I usually use Uncle Squezees window and gutter cleaning. I chose this company for the added benefit of having the roof inspection. I was not happy with how the job was preformed as he got muddy debris over my windows, deck and lawn furniture. He attempted to hose down the deck which then splattered on my brick and door wall. I had just had them professionally clean 2 weeks earlier. He told me he had hosed off the deck so I thought no more about it, however the next day the dried mud off the brick was not very easy to get off. It seems like this companys main focus is to sell roofing, or repairs, or gutter guards, not really clean gutters. Will stick with Mr. Squeezes whom I had out today to clean up the muddy windows.

My gutters were so dirty that I even had plants growing from them. I didn't clean these gutters for at least 2 years. He left everything clean and he was very polite.

Outstanding. Very thorough job. Recaulked around all thevents and checked for damage all around the roof including the peaks and edges. Everything checked out fine except for a small area where there appeared to be hail damage.

I received a quote from Mr. Grennan on 9/10/15 which I accepted. He said he would start the work in 3 to 4 weeks. I introduced him to a friend of mine that needed work on her home and he gave her a quote for her work which was more involved and more expensive than the work on my home. She agreed to his quote and he said it would be 6 to 8 weeks before he could start her work. In late September he told me it would be another 3 to 4 weeks before he could get to my work and he told my friend it would be 6 to 8 weeks before he would get to her work. We followed up with him in mid October and again were told it would be another several weeks before he could start our work. We tried to be patient with him and waited for him to call about starting the work. He NEVER called us about starting the work nor to tell us he could not do the work. We have not heard from him since that time. It has been more than 6 months since he gave me the quote and the 3 to 4 week start time. I believe it was very unprofessional of Mr. Grennan not to stay in touch with us about either the delays or when he could start working on our homes.

It took about two months to get the job scheduled due to how busy they were and the rainy windy Fall we were having. I wasn't sure they would get to my job before winter. But they did and they brought a double crew to try to get it done one Saturday. They had to finish up the following Sunday morning but they asked if it was ok to return on Sunday and didn't just assume it would be ok. They were very considerate of my dogs being stressed by all the banging & workers walking by the windows & the fact they couldn't go out in the yard since they were working in the front & back at the same time. They did an excellent job on the roofing. The crew Leader was watching their work at all times. If a crew member wasn't working on the roofing, they were walking around the yard cleaning & picking up. I don't think I could have asked for a better job.

Quote was provided punctually. Price was good. Work was performed prior to the snowfall and completed in 3 days. Area was cleaned up and so far all is good. The roof looks great and we are hoping that is works great too. Grennan was professional, reasonable and reliable. I would recommend them to anyone.

I cancelled with another company after I got Fred's quote. It was very reasonable for the work I wanted done. I had many bids last Spring but after the hail storm in my area all the roofers inflated their prices. Grennan construction is really a quality company. After my inital bid by email, I talked to Fred and he really knows what he is talking about. He told me when the work would begin and it did. They installed the first half then it snowed. The crew showed up and finished as soon as they possibly could. We couldn't even believe that they finished it since it was very cold out.The construction forman called me many times during the job to keep me posted which I really appreciated. I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't have any rotten wood so the price was exactly as quoted. Within a day or two of completion a tree fell on our beautiful new roof. Fred came out and gave us an estimate to repair it. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Grennan construction to anyone. My husband has already given out their name to a few friends that want an honest,reliable company.

One week later, and everything is dry!

The inspection was thorough and pictures were emailed to me with all the work that was needed and a quote was provided. My wife met with the contractor. My wife doesn't trust contractors and approaches initial conversations often with a negative attitude. My son was there also and didn't feel the contractor had the personal skills to deal with the situation. They were supposed to do monor repairs as part of the initial inspection but I was told thery didn't do so since more extensive repairs were needed. We thought the quote was high. Maybe not high but a couple thousand is a lot of money. We sought another contactor (not thru Angie's list) and he quoted a lot less. He did his own inspection and provided a lot lower quote. I also forwarded on the other pictures I had which new contractor never looked at. We signed a contract with the new guy for about 1/3 less. Needless to say when the new contractor was there his inspection missed a few areas that needed masonry work around the smoke stacks, pipes, etc. So when he was there working I pointed out the other areas which were not in his quote but he did fix those other areas and honor his lower quote. In the end pricing would have been a lot closer if the new guy really knew what to look for beside shingles. I can't comment on Grennan as repairs go since they didn't do the work but I do know they did a excellent job with the inspection.

I never actually saw them, they came to my house and emailed me a report. I didn't find it very helpful one way or the other but I guess it was efficient for a check up. It took me awhile to get a hold of them and they sent somebody else.

Initially purchase a special offer through Angie's for a roof inspection -I knew there was a leak. I was impressed with the promptness of the appointment and the dedication of service and customer satisfaction - he was able to repair the leak and do a few other minor corrections. Had him quote for the "fixing" the ice dam that I get every year - HIs men arrived on the appointed day - when I stopped by in the afternoon to see how the job was coming - they had finished. I didn't realize they even completed the job! that's how neat it was. Top rated company !

I did have to wait to have them do the service, but they were worth it. They put in 3 new downspouts. They also put in all new vinyl soffits, because mine were rotten. They provided all the materials. They removed the old ones and put the new ones in. They also took them away too. Two employees came out to do the work. They were polite and very very nice.

First I want to say that I had a very positive experience in obtaining four separate bids for my roof replacement and additional attic insulation. Using Angie's list to select the companies that bid was an outstanding process in which the "A" rated contractors all provided for pleasant and professional interactions. Making a final decision to choose Grennan Construction was also a rewarding experience. In the bid process this company came in second from the lowest bid out of four. The owner Fred was easy to talk to and his team of installers were all friendly and efficient. They left me little to worry over and kept me informed of their timeline as well as answered all my questions. As it stood we had a lot of rain and they had to work around the weather. I would also like to state than any time I left a message, my calls were returned promptly. My husband and I are very happy with our new roof and would consider Fred's company again when we need to replace windows. Great job! Thank you so much!

Despite the $2,000 worth of services I bought for $1000 I was quoted a better price and better materials by CL Ward for siding for my house. It is my hope that I may receive some other service from Grennan construction for the money I spent on your "deal". I cant help but feel that the price was increased to account for the discount.

Great. Very reliable, good customer service. Fred was great and was wonderful working with our insurance company which was not easy. I would definitely use them again.
