Description of Work: We had Dave do an inspection on a property we are going to be purchasing. He was extremely thorough and not your typical "know-it-all" engineer like so many I've worked with over the past 15 years.

Description of Work: Owner is David Richardson, a licensed builder and ASHI member with a BS in civil engineering. He spent about 2 1/2 hours at the house and throughly expected everything from basement to roof. He then gave us an immediate written list of actions needed and anticipated items needing replacement in 5 years, and 24 hours later emailed a full 20 page written report.

Description of Work: "Milestone (Dave Richardson) provided a complete home inspection and radon test. The latter was optional and an additional charge. Test took 48 hours with results available at the end of the test. No waiting. |Not sure how this inspection could have gone better or been more thorough. I have used home inspection services for other homes and Dave is very good at this. Fortunately, I have only had good experiences with home inspectors in this area. |The important issue from our perspective was anything hidden like radon, mold or foundation issues and leaks. Any issues were well documented and explained during the inspection, which makes it much easier to follow up with repairs and avoid damage from something like a roof issue. Experienced inspectors can often offer home buyers their best guess for how much service can reasonably be expected from a furnace or water heater, given the age, make, model along with indications of care given over its lifetime. If a hot water heater, for example, is on its last legs it nice to know such things in time avoid surprises and bigger issues. Same thing with the roof or foundation. It's easy to recommend someone who knows their stuff and does the job so well."

Description of Work: I found Dave on Angies List to do our home inspection on our very first home. He has a lot of experience and qualifications which are also described on his website. He was on time, thorough and as promised had the report to us the very next day at 3pm. He did a great job and we are very lucky to have found him.
