The plumber, Dan, was excellent, trying all possible remedies before resorting to having to install a new faucet. He stayed very aware of my timing issues, as well as understanding my frustration at a new faucet having been damaged by an improper installer before I called his company to repair. He kept me informed about his progress, and made sure he had my approval before doing anything that might have compromised a warranty on the defective faucet. He tried his best to keep my costs minimized.

Daniel checked many vents from those in the basement to the ones on the roof. He found the walnut and the problem solved. He was very polite & business like.

Things went great. Daniel arrived in the window of time they said he would arrive and got right to work. Daniel fixed our drip in the shower and explained everything to me. Couldn't have gone any better.

Brad was very professional, called before he came, was patient in locating the source of rattling pipe and got my permission to remove the top of the pedestal sink before replacing the faucet. The price was very fair based on past experience with a different provider. I would definitely use Cumming Plumbing again and recommend their services.

Brad installed things perfectly no problems he tested each sink for leaks before he left Brad did a wonderful and efficient installation of two wolverine toilets, two bathroom faucets with two wolverine brass popups, then a shower head and a large kitchen faucet center with sprayer and soap pump. Brad took everything away and left things clean. Brad hauled away the left over old parts and all the cardboard boxes. He left the literature for each of the devices and the small little keys for opening the scree opening on the bathroom faucets. I recommend Cummings plumbing and if you need a specific person ask for Brad I have used him twice this last two months. of October, November 2015 He tested each device before he sealed them in. He ran water through the faucets first before putting on the faucet screen to prevent clogging by those annoying black bits.

Easy to obtain a same-day appointment for emergency services. I had to have them return because the outdoor fixture was a little loose (after installation) and they sent someone out immediately to correct the issue.

It went very well. The installer Brad was very personable and courteous. He took the time to answer all of my questions and to explain the features and benefits of the new faucet. There was a lot of work to be done. This house is over 60 years old and still had the original galvanized pipes, many of which were rusted badly and some were starting to drip from leaks. They replaced waste pipes with PVC and Pex pipes for hot and cold water. They anchored everything very well and made it look very neat and tidy. The crew that came, Dan and Josh, arrived on time and worked diligently. They cleaned everything up before they left making it look better than when they came. I am very pleased.

Josh and Dan were quick and got the job done. They called ahead to let me know when they were on their way. Only had a 2 hour window, which is pretty reasonable.

Last week my kitchen sink became clogged. Also, the week prior to that, the pull-out hose on the same sink started to leak so bad that I had to leave it off the stand permanently. I called Cumming Plumbing and they made an appointment for that same day. Brad came out that afternoon and snaked the drain. He also gave me some helpful info as what not to put down the disposal, etc. He didn't have the right faucet hose with him so he took a picture of the faucet hose and told me they would have to order it. He said they would look it up and get back to me on price. They called the very next morning with the price and told me they would only charge me for 15 minutes of labor and not the standard first hour. I thought that was more than fair and I was not expecting that at all. They ordered the hose that same day and called the very next day to set up an appointment. They came this morning to install it and it was a little more difficult than they thought it would be. They ended up being here for at least a half hour, but they still charged me for the 15 minutes. In my opinion, Cumming Plumbing is awesome. I will be calling them again. They are honest, knowledgeable, fair and professional. I can trust them to know what they are doing, which has not always been the case with plumbers that I have called to do work in the past.

Dan was very friendly and got both jobs done efficiently and still took the time to answer my 5 year-old son's 10,000 questions about toilet repair and plumbing in general. We would be happy to have Dan around again. I only hope that my son doesn't try to clog the toilet so that Dan has to come back again!

It went fantastic. Brad was excellent. He arrived on time. Completed the job timely and when he ran into a little difficulty with the installation he was able to quickly come up with a way to solve the problem and finish the job in a timely matter. My husband had wanted to try to do everything himself - boy, am I glad we called Cumming Plumbing! The utility sink really is what sealed the deal because pipes had to be shortened, holes drilled into the cabinet for the supply/water lines, and the shut off wasn't working properly. When I first called Cumming Plumbing, the woman I spoke to on the phone was very knowledgeable about everything I needed done - she seemed very experienced and knew exactly the problems that I was describing (even though I didn't know the right terminology). I was relieved to hear that there wasn't a trip/service charge - but there is a 15 minute travel charge. The $80/hour rate seems really high but bc of the good reviews I decided to book. Dan was great - he fixed everything and I am very pleased with the service/results. There was even a minor issue with the tub handles after installation that we discovered after he left and he came out the next day and fixed it - no problem! What a relief! The only thing I would've changed is that I wished I would've gotten an estimate of hours anticipated to do all the work ahead of time. I didn't know how long to expect my projects to take so I was really at the mercy of T&M gods when it came to the bill. It would've been nice to get an idea ahead of time so that I could budget ahead. Other than that I am extremely pleased with everything and would definitely recommend Cumming Plumbing (and Dan) to anyone who needed a plumber. Thanks guys!

I have been using Cumming Plumbing for all my plumbing needs for the last 5 years or so in two different houses. The quality is first rate and the price always reasonable. Dave the owner is highly responsive. I always receive a call back within the hour and once he was walking me through a minor issue while he attended a Tigers game at Comerica Park. Brad performed the most recent work at our new house, which involved running a gas line for a new gas stove the replace the electric one that was in the house when we moved in, along with some other minor work involving leaks with a toilet and a bath spout. He was on time, friendly and the work was done well and in a couple hours. Once other story worth mentioning....when we sold our old house last year, the first inspector that came through dinged me on a bunch of plumbing and gas line issues that ultimately scared off the buyer (not related to any work Cumming Plumbing had done). I hired Dave to take care of everything in the report. He told me he'd be happy to take my money, but about half of the things in the report weren't a problem and he wouldn't bother. The second inspector that came through agreed with Dave's assessment and that purchase did go through. I always appreciate it when professionals turn down easy money in the interest of the buyer, which to me indicates high integrity.

A carpenter was laying wood & hit a water pipe. I called for emergency service & Dan was here within 1/2 hr. From now on I want only Dan as my plumber. He's great!

My condo association sent a letter requiring all plastic water supply lines to be replaced by a certain date for insurance purposes. Brad came out prepared to replace my lines and discovered that I had no plastic lines to replace. I did, however, ask him to switch my garbage disposal from the narrow side of my divided sink to the wider side. Brad had called to see if he could come earlier than the appointed time. I agreed and found Brad to be very personable as well as professional. He answered all my questions and did an excellent job. I would definitely use Cumming Plumbing again.
