This is the second time I've utilized Cumming Plumbing. Great job as usual. Jerry and Scott were professional, courteous and we were pleased with their work. Thank you.

Kitchen faucet took why too long, so that made the appointment very expensive, plus it was not installed in the configuration my wife requested. The shower had the valve replaced, and ever since the repair, the flow of the shower has been cut in half. Also, they are the only plumber I know that charges for travel time.

Coordinated with township to shutoff and turn water back on. Cumming was on time and completed job with minimal disruption to me. Job took about 1 1/2 hours to complete

It went very smoothly. Remove our old water. Installed the replacement. Everything was done in little more than two hours.

We contacted Cumming Plumbing explained complete re-do of kitchen (gutted) and needed a gas line run for the stove. Asked for them to stop by with quote. Was told since gutted and unfinished basement $80/hr and ~$4 per lineal foot of gas pipe and all would be done according to code. I set up a time for them to come. They called prior and arrived on date and time specified. Plumber ran line length of ranch house (~50ft), my husband thought line was not crisp looked unprofessional. We paid bill that was $700!! to run 1 gas line. It stated on the bill, gas line was installed according to CODE. Had the city inspectors come to sign off on HVAC, windows, electrical, plumbing and gutted kitchen. The notice was stuck on window in kitchen right above the installed gas fitting. Inspector came in stated windows, electrical, HVAC looked great and asked where was permit for gas line. We stated we hired Cumming Plumbing to do the work. Wallside, Slasor, and Electrician all pulled permits prior to coming in. Inspector stated the gas line was not according to code, needed a permit and pressure test. He would be contacting Cumming. We called Cumming a couple of days later and asked why no permit and that the plumbing was not according to code since line was not pressure tested. We were told it would be an ADDITIONAL ~$150 for permit and $80/hr for the plumber to come back and pressure test line, even though original receipt stated per code. UPDATE: 10/4/17 We received a call from Cumming Plumbing following our review. They wanted to correct the situation. They pulled a permit and David came in and oversaw the pressure test with the city inspector. Our gas line passed and there was no additional charge. Thank you Cumming Plumbing

Brad did a wonderful job at my home solving and explaining plumbing problems I had been having for quite a while. When the instillation of a hot water heater and another repair job was made his work was impeccable. I would highly recommend Cumming Plumbing and Brad for answering all my questions and doing a fantastic job.

We had been dreading getting these plumbing repairs completed for some time because we didn't know a "good" plumber. Then I happened to think of Angies List. After a little research and review reading, we decided that Cumming Plumbing sounded like what we were looking for. We called Cumming and explained all the work we needed to get done. The person we spoke to was very helpful and listened to what we needed repaired. She explained how the cost would be determined and gave us an estimate. After answering a few more questions an appointment was set up for the following Tuesday. The plumber would call first and then arrive between 8:00 and 8:30 am. Daniel from Cumming Plumbing was on time and got right to work. The cold water faucet was blocked from residue. He repaired it in no time - drilling out the blockage. I didn't know this was even possible. It runs like new! The toilet needed just about everything having never been pulled up before since the house was built in about 1952. He replaced the tank flushing system first, and then started on the seal. He said the toilet was still sitting on the original "putty" from when it was first put in. He cleaned it all out and installed a new wax seal. Getting the putty out was a tedious, messy job, but as soon as he finished that part he got his shop vac in to clean it all up. With the toilet sealed and repaired, that left the bathtub faucet drips to fix. The bathtub faucets were quite old and he had to replace the cartridges, seats, etc. to fix the dripping. He knew what the problem was and how to repair it. He solved all of our plumbing problems to our complete satisfaction in just three hours! The cost was very reasonable at a bit over $350 for parts and labor. The entire experience from first call to finished repairs turned out even better than we could have hoped for. Professional, knowledgeable and reasonably priced. We can now say we know an excellent plumber and plumbing company!

Excellent. They came when they said they would and got the job done on time (early actually) and within the very fair estimate. Very professional. Definitely would hire them again.

I need a plumber that could actually, that major undertaking, they have to dig in the ground. My building is 90 feet from the road so there were going to trench 90 feet, hook up to the connection on the street and then put a meter in my building and then fill it all in. They came right out when they said they were going to come out. The person that I talked to was friendly and explained everything. It was very good and I was comfortable with them. Well,I don't know, I guess they explained everything. I understood them. If I had any questions, they informed me. I was not in the dark about anything.They could have come out and done the job right there on the spot.

Justin installed a faucet, disposal and shutoff valves for new sink and water lines. Was prompt and completed the work quickly. Cummings also did the rough in work several months earlier. Ran new pex water lines off existing copper, tied into existing drain, capped off old copper lines in concrete floor. Also replaced broken outdoor hose bib with a new frost free hose bib.

I was told they would arrive between 2 and 4. About 3:30 they called to say they were running late and would be here between 4 and 5. Dan arrived about 4:30. He replace the toilet valve in a about ten minutes. He couldn't replace the hose bibb with out cutting a hole in the drywall, and he couldn't repair the existing bibb because the manufacturer had gone out of business. He suggested a simpler and less costly solution of replacing an adjacent bibb. He replaced with an easier to use model. His work and demeanor was timely and professional. I would definitely request him again.

After trying my hand at using a power snake to unclog a basement floor drain, I found Cumming Plumbing on Angie's list. Wonderful experience! Justin and Josh were early, called before coming out, and explained their work in detail. It was a tough clog, almost 80' out to the main line, but they persevered and cut out the blockage. Cleaned up everything as well. Very professional and knowledgeable. They recommended maintenance clean outs to prevent this in the future, and I will definitely do that! Thanks again guys!

Somehow there was a slight scratch on the tub after he left and he reversed the hot and cold. Not a big problem.

Person came out was very nice and got the work done in couple hours. He came on time and notified before coming and finished the work as discussed. I would hire again.

Brad and Josh called ahead to let me know when they were heading my way so that I knew when to expect them. They were quick and professional, and explained each step as needed. They did quality work, and I would definitely hire them again.

The lady that answered the phone was very friendly and helpful. She got someone scheduled to come out that same day.to snake out my backed up main drain line, which was great since it was almost noon with the day half over already when I called. Justin showed up within an hour and a half, was very professional, answered all my questions, and even checked out my storm drain to make sure it was working OK while he was at it. Even with the extra trip time charge from Plymouth to Redford, the bill only came up to $165, which is less than what I have paid in the past. Will definitely call again.

Things went well. The plumber called before he arrived on the day scheduled. He assessed the situation and went right to work. He needed to replace more than anticipated, but he explained why he felt it was necessary. When he was finished he showed us what he did and explained how everything works. He cleaned up afterwards. A couple days later, I noticed that water was slightly leaking from one of the new connections. He came out that same day to make the repair and explained what he needed to do to fix it. Everything is working just fine now!
