Description of Work: I use them for housecleaning. They have a check list of 8 things that they do. They have a rotation system for each time that they come.

Description of Work: We last used Cleaning Authority 2 weeks ago. It was $125.00 for a deep clean and then $85 for every two weeks.

Description of Work: I am a new member of Angie's list. After reading rave reviews for this company, I just had to add my horrible experience with this company and Mr. Moriarity. This is a legitimate and honest review of what happened to me. I had had this company for some time and was pleased with the cleaning job they were doing. This was shortly after my husband had died and it was a difficult time for me. The first thing I noticed "missing" was a 14 k. gold cuff bracalet with diamomds my husband had given to me. I thought I had misplaced it, but I remembered wearing it and thought I had left it on my dressing table. I kept looking for it, never found it, and sadly thought I somehow lost it. After that individual gold earrings were missing from my jewelery case. Again, I thought, this is so odd . . where am I leaving one earring? When the remaining earrings from the pairs tuned up missing, I did an inventory of my jewelery and found, much to my horror, many items were missing. All 14-18k. gold. At this point I called Mr. Motiearity and filed a police report with the Canton Police. A detective followed up and questioned the women who were cleaning my house. I had the same 2 women the entire time. They denied any complicity, of course. The detective dropped the case -so much for our tax dollars at work. My opinion, and feeling is that they blamed a nephew who was staying with me at the time. He happens to be African American. Perhaps that is a reflection on the police department's lack of pursuing the case -just racism. The owner denied any responsibility, vouched for these women, case closed. So much for bonded and insured. That means nothing. The last straw and proof to me that these women were thieves came later. The cleaning company, and my daughters were the only people who had keys to my house. The cleaning company retuned my key. Of course nothing stopped those women from having a duplicate made when they were in possession of the key. One evening when I was out, before I had my locks changed (and I so regret this), and my nephew was long gone and never had a key, an 18 k. gold ring, custom made with diamonds, was taken from my dressing table. I trust my children. I lost thousands of dollars worth of jewelry, most of it gifts from my deceased husband. Neither the owner or the police were interested in this theft. I had had cleaning people for years prior to this incident and never had anything stolen. I am afraid to hire a company now, since bonded and insured means nothing. And especially with this owner. DO NOT hire this company. Perhaps they have honest employees now, but the attitude and lack of concern and response from the owner is a clue to his character and the reliability of this company. As far as I know, he never fired the accused women. Who knows where they are working now. And it is hard to believe that no other customers suffered losses such as mine. A terrible lesson leaned.

Description of Work: What you want cleaned is negotiated up front, although they perform standard cleaning, ie, bedrooms, baths, kitchens, etc. Clean, vacuum, shine, polish. Every 2 weeks they clean 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, 1 kitchen and the living and dining rooms. I've been very pleased.

Description of Work: Cleaning Authority provides bi-monthly cleaning service. They focus on specific areas of the house each time and leave a sheet detailing the work that was done. They do an excellent job on the bathrooms. We have a dog and they are fine with him being home when they come. I like having a bonded/insured company rather than an individual.

Description of Work: Maria and Erica cleaned 2-1/2 baths, 4 bedrooms upstairs, Kitchen, Eating area & Laundry Room. All of these were part of the Area of Rotation 1 & 3. On the next scheduled cleaning, Area of Rotation 2 & 4 will be cleaned. By dividing the house into distinct areas of 1,2,3 & 4, extra attention is given to specific tasks and details.
