+ 0 moreBecause the price was so high we took it to another shop where they told us my son's car was out of gas-that was the only problem. I had to get a note from the shop to take to Autolab to get the $95 they charged to diagnose the "bad" fuel pump. It was given grudgingly with no apology
Description of Work: My son's car quit running and we towed it to their and they gave an estimate of $800 to replace the fuel pump

+ -1 moreThe check engine light came on on my 02' Civic, also the starting was a little rough, so I decided to take my car in by work. They looked at my car and told me the fuel pump was in bad shape and needed to be replaced, they estimated $500 for parts and labor on that. I was a little suspicious and said I would think about it first. Then I took my car to the repair shop we normally go to on the East side of town, because we were new in the west side of town and didn't know any other places to go to. The shop there found out it was something else went wrong, and my fuel pump was fine. So my only visit to Auto Lab Plymouth told me more than enough to not going back there again.

+ -1 moreCalled them a few days ahead of time. No appointment needed. Brought tires on a Saturday, mid-morning. Estimate was $70, came in slightly under this. Work promised by mid-afternoon, but done even sooner (less than 3 hours). Pick-up was straightforward and work performed as requested.
Description of Work: Mounted a set of tires I had bought from an on-line tire retailer.
