Problem leakage area was diagnosed and determined reoairs with new parts were installed on same day. Looking toward much lower water bills in future!

They did a good job 4 years ago install my water heater bought through Lowe’s home installation services. However, they are really not good at inspection. I do have their receipt which wrote my water heater needs replaced. I have a new water heater installed after their inspection. Turns out the water heater not walking is not because the old water water heater broken. It is the DTE electric meter for my water heater is not working properly. Wasted me $100 for the inspection, and $1500+ for the new water heater installation ,electric upgrade to meet new Ann Arbor city electric requirement, and city inspection. Well my new water heater is not through them since I believe they don’t have a master electrician, and their quote for plumbing only is already very expensive.

Fast, through, clean and professional service! John came out same day as the call was placed. Gave us a time estimate of when he would arrive and showed up precisely on time. He quickly diagnosed the problem and gave us options for fixing it without trying to sell us on one or another, which I really appreciated. He took the toilet seat off, cleaned up the old seal, adjusted the flange, replaced the wax seal, reseated the toilet and caulked it back up. After a few flush tests, the leak was gone, proving that his original diagnostic was correct. Since he was already here I also asked him if he would replace a broken kitchen faucet and save me the trouble. I ran to HD and picked one up which he installed in about half hour. Both jobs took about an hour and forty five. He left both work areas spotless behind him. Very, very happy with him and the service. Would definitely hire again.

.They were great. He gave me reasonable price. He was there on a Saturday. They were fantastic. They were super responsive. They were very knowledgeable. I really appreciated the explanation,the responsiveness and the in depth explanation of what they had to do. And responding, he recognized the emergency I was in. He was on the phone and jumped and took care of business. This was on a Friday cause of course this kind of stuff always happens on a Friday. He is calling his guys and he is activating all his resources to get them here. After the fact, he could of really taken advantage, bu he didn't. The price for all that they had to do was com probable as what others could be. A's across the board.

Purchased new water heater from Lowes who contracted installation to A OK. Could not have been better. Plumber Chris was friendly, polite, and professional. He called a couple hours after I left the store and arrived at my house when promised. Finished the job in about an hour and cleaned up thoroughly including taking away the old heater. I am extremely happy with the service provided by A OK. The price was set by Lowes who I'm sure charges a hefty premium that the installation company doesn't see but was worth it for me to get same day service.

We have had very mixed experiences with AOK plumbing. That's why I'm giving them a "B" rating. This review is based on those multiple service calls. AOK has performed service for us through the DTE Home Protection Plan on multiple occasions: 06/01/15, 06/05/15, later in June , 09/28/15, and 10/2/15. The cost of the service call work was covered fully by the warranty plan so I can't speak to their pricing. In June, DTE sent them out to fix a failed bathtub shower diverter and clear a slow draining sink. The plumber replaced the bathtub faucet and left a large gap between the faucet and the tiled wall. Also, he did not fully fix the sink drain and left us with a small leak. This was simply not acceptable. To their credit, AOK made it right by sending out another plumber who fixed everything. In September, AOK came out again to snake the aforementioned sink drain and also to fix a outdoor faucet. I had to reschedule the visit and the plumber offered to reschedule with my personally. We set a time, However, he never came at the time we had agreed upon. Thankfully AOK sent out another plumber to promptly complete the fixes. I am glad that I work from home and so did not have miss work to be available for all these visits. In summary of our experience, AOK plumbers are extremely courteous. Sadly, their work is not consistently thorough. One plumber has not been able to complete the agreed upon repairs before leaving the house (as mentioned previously). Also, the company is not consistently responsive, which may or may not be due to the DTE scheduling set up, a failure on the part of AOK's receptionist(s), or the plumber(s) themselves. One week, when I was trying to follow up on incomplete repairs, I contacted AOK via voice messages on the plumber's personal cell, the company voicemail, the company email, and even via Facebook message. I left all these message over the course of a week. I never received any response to any of my inquiries. If it were my choice, i.e. if I were not required to use AOK for plumbing through the DTE plan, I would not use this company again.

The project went very well considering there was a storm, power outage and record heat doing the time of the work.They work with my travel schedule and weather conditions.

I called A OK Plumbing when I realized that my sump pump wasn't working. John, one of the plumbers, came out to assess the situation, but didn't think he could fit me in his schedule for that day since he had other appointments. Despite the fact that we had it set up for him to return the next morning, he was able to do the job later that day. I felt that this was above and beyond the call of duty since the roads were in terrible shape due to a snowstorm that blanketed the area. John was able to get both pumps replaced and cleaned up after he was finished. He was professional and very pleasant to deal with.
