Mark was great! He was timely in his response and prompt the day of the service. We needed a tv wall mount wired and hung and also a small leak under the kitchen sink. Mark was able to take care of both - so nice to get them both taken care of with one person and one visit.

Dave is a craftsman par excellence! The door looks as though it came with the house and is also highly functional. My mother, who is 91 and was afraid she'd accidentally tumble down the open stairwell, keeps touching the top of the lovely door as she uses her walker to walk past stairwell without fear. In her words, "the door really adds to the whole room." As for the drywall patch, it's perfect. Dave is skilled, wears a mask to protect everyone, and charges a fair price. I'll definitely try to connect with him again when I need another project.

Mark and Ryan did an excellent job on my project. TV mounted on living room, new electrical out for TV, no wires showing, level, and height I requested. They also removed a bottom cabinet in the kitchen and installed a dishwasher. Excellent work, very reasonably priced, work done in 1 day. I would highly recommend Kalamazoo Handymen for any of your home projects.

Mark was quick to reply and came out the following week to do repairs. Was completely satisfied with his work. Will call him again when other projects need completing.

Mark and his employee both worked hard while on the job. Mark's pricing was very fair in my opinion and I asked if they could power wash my concrete patio adjacent to the deck when they were here and they did so. I added an extra payment for this and extra stain that was needed, although Mark did not request it. I just felt it was the right thing to do. They completed work in 2 days total with drying time between power wash and staining. Mark was helpful in the selection of stain color and steered me to a darker beige as it dries lighter than the brochure color. I was very pleased with the outcome. They also hammered down popped nails and repaired 2 flower holders at base of the 2 pergola posts and sanded rough spots. Only minor problem was paint from sprayer got onto sliding screen door.

No one scheduled or came out for an estimate. Email communication and me sending photos dragged out the process. My 70 plus year old husband will remove the timbers himself and follow some advice from another handyman who came out to see the job. We will have to check later for a replacement for the trim or not.

It went very well. They are always very punctual. They are very professional and do quality work. Well worth the money when you know you’re getting a job well done. They know what they’re doing.

I chose Kalamazoo Handymen Services mainly due to the excellent communication Mark showed from the very beginning. It gave me the confidence that he not only listens to his customers, but also would respond to email, phone, and text messages in a timely manner. This is a rare quality from not only a handyman, but also most contractors I have worked with in the past. They were hired to install base trim, chair rail, and crown molding, as well as 2 bifold doors and a half wall cap which was just over 1000 square feet worth in a finished basement. He sub'd out the crown and the painting which I was perfectly OK with, and informed me of his decision to do so ahead of time while providing a quote for the entire project. Mark and Ryan showed up early every day and worked between 6-8 hours each day until the job was finished. The entire project took about 2 weeks, give or take. If they had any questions or had any issues, he was quick to get in touch with me. Alternatively, they were both very patient with me and all of the questions/changes I had thrown at them. Would highly recommend and I will most likely be in contact with Kalamazoo Handymen Services down the road for more work! Thanks again Mark and Ryan. The finished product looks great!

Mark was punctual and did the work well. He needed to also patch the ceiling and some large holes in the wall that were hidden by the dropped ceiling. The end results are a clean open kitchen that looks great.

It went great! Mark and his team are personable as well as very skilled and professional. A pleasure to work with! The family room is not only as good as it was before the damage occurred--it is new and improved from what it was before the damage.

We were impressed by the time he took to really look at the scope rather than just a quick overview. He also gave us great suggestions on options we hadn't thought of to maximize space. Kalamazoo Handymen Services was interested in finding out what we wanted and doing the job quickly and for a reasonable cost. No sales pitches or pressure, just high quality work! When work started, Mark and his crew were there everyday and made excellent progress. In a week, our old deck was demo'd and the new deck was up. They listened to any concerns we had and took the time to explain or adjust their work. We are happy with our deck and look forward to enjoying it over the upcoming years!

It turned out fantastic! They showed up when they said, did what they said, and kept me in the loop every step of the way.I can't say enough good about them! it took a few years for me to work up the courage to hire someone to take on this job and SO glad I found Mark. It turned out the damage was far worse than we thought. Turned out they had to even fix part of the roof which had a hole in it that we didn't know about. Mark replaced over half the floor all the way down to the dirt, literally. The wall was completely replaced and made to match in with the other walls. Part of the ceiling was replaced once the roof was repaired and you can't even tell anything was ever wrong. Once all done, he put down brand new flooring, painted the walls, put in a new door, new light cover and new electric covers. I can't believe this room is in my house! A BIG THANK YOU to Mark for making this happen!!!!!!

I decided to have Mark do this work while I was away on vacation. I left an old kitchen and returned to a new kitchen. He kept me informed of progress along the way. I couldn't be happier with the results, and he as able to charge me a little less because he didn't have to clean up at the end of every day.

He did a fantastic job! This was the first time that I needed to take care of a deck. I had purchased the home about 2 years ago and the deck was certainly showing it's age. Mark was very knowledgeable and recommended a solid or semi-solid stain. He helped me through the process the whole way and I can't thank him enough. The only hiccup I had was that I scheduled him to come out late in the season due to my availability and it rained unexpectedly the night they stained. The next day I had splotches of missing stain across the deck. I called him and he came out the next day and fixed everything. I haven't had any problems since. When he says he guarantees the work he does, he's not kidding. I would recommend him to anybody that is looking for a reliable, helpful, efficient deck staining service.

Mark performs excellent work! He gives fair and accurate estimates, arrives on time, does top notch work, very professional, and requests payment after the work is completed. Previous to Mark, I used another handymen company. I contacted them in May to paint my deck. They required half of the money upfront, before they would schedule me. Unfortunately, summer and fall came and went and my deck was still not painted. In fact, they wanted to keep my money and stated "that they can put me on the schedule next year!" I asked for my money back and contacted Mark in the spring. My deck was painted in a few weeks and looks brand new!

Unlike many contractors we have used or called over the years, Mark returns your call promptly. When you go over the work you want done, he lets you know exactly how he is going to perform the work and approximately how long it will take. When he starts a project, he sticks with it until complete, unlike other contractors we have used who either don't show up, or leave before the project is complete without informing when they will return. When Mark leaves at the end of the day, everything is completely cleaned up to my "fussy" satisfaction. Prices are reasonable, and I have yet to come up with a project Mark was unable to handle. During the project, he lets you know how it is going and if he has run into any unforeseen problems.

Mark did a fantastic job for my elderly uncle on Gull Lake. I had sent him a portable air conditioner for his upstairs bedroom, but it had an exhaust tube that was incompatible with his windows. Mark suggested running it trough the attic and made a means of doing so that can be sealed in the winter. His prices are more than reasonable and my uncle is ecstatic. I'm sure he can look forward to returning often, for more work! Thank you so much!
