 + -1 moreThe good news: I didn't need a new pressure tank. The bad news: Even though this was a simple repair, taking less than an hour, they charged me $400.00. When I asked if they didn't think that a a bit high, they told me that I agreed to the price. Lessons learned. Go into the crawl space myself, even if a tight fit, to check out the problem visually before calling a repair service and never call George Roberts again.
Description of Work: We noticed a "water rushing" sound coming from under the family room in the crawl space. Something had broken. I immediately turned off the circuit breaker to the well pump and called George Roberts Well Services. They did arrive fairly quickly and were willing to crawl through my relatively low crawl space. It turned out that about a 6 inch pipe nipple had rusted and burst. They replaced it with a short section of PEX and 2 Shark Bite fittings (At most $40 worth of parts). They were done in less than an hour.
