Went very well. He showed up on time and completed the job in the time frame he said. I e-mailed him prior to the job and he got back with me within 2 business days. I am very pleased with his work. I recommend him, and will use in the future.

When we spoke, Joern McHale was very honest in that he never had installed one previously. However, he had extensive plumbing experience and had resources available should he need assistance. Joern arrived on time. Confirmed his estimate and walked me through what he was going to do. I'm very pleased with his work and I'd call on him in the future

This bathroom remodel job is in a duplex rental that I own. I found MCHANDYMAN LLC in the local advertisement. We met at the property at the agreed time, I explained that I had remodeled most of the duplex but had to stop at the bathroom because my budget had run out, and I didn't want to give it "just a face lift." I was looking to have a NEW tub and wall tile. The floor around the toilet had rotted and needed to be replaced. Because of the water damage the drywall behind the toilet was also damaged and needed to be cut out and replaced. I would have to have the floor re-tiled because of a few missing tiles. MCHANDYMAN LLC gave me an estimate and I gave him the job. The job started right on time. At the end of the first day (he estimated the job to be no longer than 3 days) I stopped by to see the progress. The new bathtub was in and the tile (not yet grouted) was on the wall. MCHANDYMAN LLC pointed out a hole he put in the bathroom/bedroom wall while installing the bathtub and said he would of course repair it. In the meantime the tenant that was living there called me, very upset. I couldn't understand why until she said there was dust over all her furniture, and she did NOT want this guy back in her house-he could finish when she moved out. Needless to say I had to have the job finished and I also thought it was important to be there the whole time he was working in case she came home. I expect it took him no more than 3 hours to complete the job. As he was wrapping up his tools I looked over the job. Everything appeared to be done and in order. MCHANDYMAN LLC handed me the work order, I signed it and paid him the balance. Two days later my tenant text me and said, the hole in the bedroom wall was only rough patched (I forgot to look there) the tile behind the toilet is coming up, the dry wall behind the toilet was left with rough patch drywall. There is dings in the bedroom door. the floor trim is split and where the tile meets the tub needs to be caulked. I immediately forward the text to MCHANDYMAN LLC and asked if he might go by and address these issues. MCHANDYMAN LLC text me back saying "I don't deal directly with tenants. You signed off on this job." I text him back and said I understood when could he meet me at the job site and correct these problems. I also asked him to bring the receipts from the job. His respond to me was "the receipts are mine to use as my write off since they were bought with company money and you need to get someone else to fix whatever you feel was needs fixing, you signed off on this job." I have told everyone to never use MCHANDYMAN. I feel he took total advantage of me being a single woman. I was very upset that this tenant was giving me grief, she later explained to me that when she stopped by her house after work she found him in the garage sawing with the service door open leading into her living room where dust was settling everywhere. No care was given to keep dust out of her house. MCHANDYMAN LLC did lay drop cloths all through the house, but that doesn't stop dust from coming in. MCHANDYMAN LLC has a FACEBOOK page that he has blocked me from. Yesterday I went to his facebook page and found a picture of MY BATHROOM, with the caption under it stating "CUSTOMER VERY HAPPY WITH THE JOB" So now I need to find a handyman to fix the mess MCHANDYMAN LLC left me in. Most importantly the caulking. I need to have that repaired before my new tenant moves in and wants to shower. I joined ANGIE'S LIST and came across MCHANDYMAN name and if I can save anyone from using him I will be happy. I do have pictures and video of his work. I also have the text message. BE AWARE.

I can't say enough good things about McHandyMan! His work is flawless - To the point of being a perfectionist. I am always amazed when I come home and see the work that he's done. The hardwood floor installation in the great room and master bedroom was incredible. How he managed to cut the hardwood to fit around my faux-stone fireplace I'll never know. The stone has edges jutting out everywhere and yet he still managed to fit the wood flooring around it - I still look at it and scratch my head! The crown moldings are seamless. The angles for the crown molding in the master bath bay window, and other corners, would make even the seasoned wood worker cringe. He's an expert painter also.....I could go on and on, but you get the picture. When MchandyMan comes to the house, I just throw the key at him and leave. He's very trustworthy and I have no qualms leaving him in charge. I just hope he never moves out of the area or he's too busy to get to what I need done!
