Hartmeier Custom Painting

It went very, very well. Eugene is a very hard worker. He was always on time and worked hard all day long. He is also very particular about the quality of his work. Our walls were in terrible condition after having 3 different wallpapers on the walls. He make them look like brand new walls with much time and effort, sanding, patching, caulking, and priming before the actual paint went on. He also did a great job on our kitchen cabinets. They are maple cabinets that had been stained; he removed all the doors and prepped the frames before painting them. He used our garage for his area to paint all the cabinet doors and drawers. He spent much time beforehand sealing off the walls and floor of the garage with plastic sheets to prevent any dust/dirt from damaging his painting job. The cabinets look brand new. He also did a wonderful job installing our new kitchen backsplash. There were some very tricky areas around a window and he came up with some great solutions. He cleaned up thoroughly every day. We are so happy with our new kitchen! We would highly recommend Eugene to anyone who needs any type of painting done.

Eugene is a pure pro. He was clean and fast. His quote was accurate and even when there was a little more work, he did it without charge. His attention to detail is amazing: the edges and corners are crisp and well defined. You can tell that he is professionally trained. It went so well, that I invited him to my mom's birthday party I was throwing the next week! He and his wife came by and had a beer by the bonfire. I consider him a true professional and friend.

On time, used my paint, excellent cutting in, great worker

Eugen Hartmeier offered the lowest bid to paint the exterior of our 2,000 s.f. house and, at our request, provided valuable feedback on our proposed color scheme. While preparing the siding, however, Eugen discovered that the previous owner had applied the existing paint over stain without using any stain-killing primer. That meant the existing paint -- and any paint applied over it -- might not adhere well over time. The alternative to applying new paint would be to strip the entire exterior and apply stain, all of which would greatly increase the cost -- especially since we already had purchased the paint. For budgetary reasons, we decided to accept the risk and go forward with the new paint. Eugen told us how long the job would take, maintained a consistent pace, and completed the work on the day specified. Both his color recommendation and the quality of his work proved to be excellent. He transformed the bland and dated appearance of our house into a modern beauty, while also caulking every seam and replacing every rotted trim board. Because of our positive experience with Eugen, we turned to him again this spring when a leaking water pipe damaged our ceiling. Again, he made a reasonable bid, completed the work on time, and did a fine, professional job. I would recommend Hartmeier for exterior house painting, but Eugen has informed me that he is now doing interior décor only. Nevertheless, his forthright, professional demeanor, reasonable prices, honest appraisals, sense of color and composition, and exceptional work standards all make it very easy to recommend Hartmeier Custom Painting for any décor issues you may have.

Found them on Angies List. Called them. They called back quickly. We met and I received a quote and let them know it might be a month out. A month later I called and within a week we were scheduled for the work. they were very prompt, on time, great at communicating, and the work was excellent just as I had heard already from others. I'm totally using them next time I need work done and I will recommend them to anyone.
