 + -1 moreSteve and Scott arrived on time. They initially recommended against having the chairs repaired as the chairs were not worth the cost. They agreed to do the repairs after I told them I could not afford a good quality kitchen table set at this time for my heavy-set family members to use at Easter. They took the chairs, repaired them and returned them as scheduled about three weeks later. So far they are very sturdy.
Description of Work: Glued/stabilized legs of 4 kitchen chairs.

 + -1 moreThe whole experience went well. Very honest and knowledgable.
Description of Work: I called to have a LazyBoy recliner repaired. It was sprung in the open position. I had the same work done under warranty twice (had to pay $99 labor each time). Steve and his son came and looked at it and did not need the new parts the previous warranty providers required. He spotted a loose screw and made a quick adjustment to the mechanism and was done. He also looked at an old kitchen chair we wanted repaired. Due to the age of the chair he suggested a simple fix we could do on our own.

 + -1 moreThey came to my house to give me a quote on fixing my couch. The owner and his son were here and they looked at my couch and they could have easily taken my money. But he was so thorough and informative and explained that my couch (from Art Van) was very cheaply made and wasn't worth the repair cost. He was very fair with quoting me a price but walked me through how if I did have it repaied that it would only fall apart later. In addition he gave me some special wood furniture screws to fix my ottoman by myself. Really good guys, honest and rare. A GEM in todays world! I would highly recommend them to anyone!
Description of Work: These guys were awesome. I didn't have them reapir my couch - and if you read the story below you will see why. They took the time to come out to my house for free to give me an estimate on my repair. They looked over my couch very carefully and showed me where the wood was warped and broken inside of the couch. The owner and his son thoroughly explained ot me what needed to be done and how much it would cost. They were very informative and even recommended several places where I should buy my furniture so I would get better pieces the next time.

 + -1 moreI called their telephone number and left a message on their voice mail. They called back within 15 minutes and after some conversation they said they would come and pick up the chair, citing an approximate time for pick up. They arrived promptly, picked up the chair, left an invoice showing the cost and said they would call when the chair was repaired. They called within the time lines they had specified for completion of the repair and returned the chair. The work was well done. All contacts with this firm were polite, pleasant and the service was as specified.
Description of Work: This company repaired a dinning room chair where the seat had come unglued and the legs were about to fall off.
