Description of Work: None, the owner, Deno, called me. He is no longer in business. He said he has tried to update his Angie's List document but for some reason he cannot get it done.

I've had other contractors not return to pick up even their own things they forgot to take with them when they finished and left but Deno came back to fix a problem we noticed after he completed the work. He stands behind his work and ensures it is done as expected. He listens to your needs and plans and suggests ideas if necessary. Our plan was executed just as planned and discussed. It was a pleasure to have him do the work and a pleasant experience. I will be turning to him in future if I have any tile work.

+ 2 moreSuperb workmanship! It was pleasure to work with Deno and his crew. Gave great advice but never pushy. Would recommend him to anyone. The whole crew were very nice and professional, showed up every day on time and worked a full day each time. They also cleaned up the kitchen daily, both tools and debris.. His employee, Joe, worked very hard to get the job done in a timely manner. An added bonus is they were great with our dogs and took care to keep the gate closed. Under cabinet LEDs, penny round tile and grout came out absolutely stunning!! The pic was taken during the project before all our stuff went back in, so isn't completely finished but shows the tile/lighting in all its beauty.
Description of Work: Replace backsplash in kitchen with penny round tile. Added under cabinet LED lighting.

He consistently strived for the highest level of craftsmanship from the start to the very end of the entire project. His extensive tile expertise and creative ideas also contributed to a superior finished project.

Description of Work: I had the shower in my master bathroom replaced. The old fiberglass shower enclosure was terrible so I had it replaced with a gorgeous tile shower with a wonderful glass door. Deno and his crew (Tom, Rondell, and Tim's Glass) did a beautiful job and I LOVE the end result. I can not recommend Artisan Stone and Tile enough! Wonderful work and everyone was a pure joy to work with. I would give them an A++ if I could!

+ 0 moreThe project went well. We had to do it in the Ann Arbor historic district, and the permitting officials can be difficult to work with at times. But, we got everything permitted (had to get a revision to satisfy a surly plumbing inspector) and the shower is simply wonderful. We are very pleased. A couple of recommendations: 1) Yes, you NEED a heated tile floor (cheap to do in now, versus later); 2) Deno has an account at the Tile Shop for getting discounts, and 3) talk with Deno before buying your tile. In our case, the last recommendation would have saved us some grief, as the wall tile we choose was pretty, but extremely delicate (it caused a fair amount of waste due to breakage and chipping).
Description of Work: Deno built us a custom shower in a very challenging space (we had to tile a sloped ceiling with an angled wall).

Description of Work: We hired Deno to install glass tile for a kitchen counter backsplash. Deno went over and beyond what we paid him to do, which was very reasonable to begin with. He thought the job was going to take about three days, but he ran I to some problems with the tile that my wife and I purchased. The job extended into six days before he was done, yet when it came time yo pay the Bill, he stayed with the original estimate. He took care to take care of our property, was not careless in any way, cleaned up after himself everyday. The job he did was way more beautiful than expected because he added some wonderful suggestions that we agreed to. We love what he did with our kitchen. We would definitely hire Deno again for any kind of tile work. He is amazing. We love the guy. He came into our home as a prospective contractor and left six days later as a friend. |If you want a talented guy that you can trust to take your ideas and turn them in to something beautiful, Deno is your man. He's fairly priced; he was right in line with other contractors I've had done. I liked that he suggests different ideas to what would fit in your budget and what would look good. He's a good eye for design and he's pleasure to work with. He's responsive.
Description of Work: I had him come out for another project but I haven't started that yet. The quote itself was for a guest bathroom. He has done two projects for me.

+ 0 moreThere was a substantial whole in the middle of my shower, I contacted the provider he promptly responded. The following day he provided me with a quote for the job. He was prompt as well as professional for the entire job. He work expeditiously and was quite the perfectionist in the throughout the entire project. The job turned out beautifully, his professionalism was superb, in the future I would reccomend him and select him for any future projects!
Description of Work: The provider repaired a hole in my bathroom shower caused by a frozen water pipe; and repaired damage in my garage. He tiled the area where damage occured and made other aesthetic changes with tile on the front of my jacuzzi tub.
