Description of Work: Griffin Mechanical went to our site to estimate a new boiler system for our four storey building. We called them as a second quote since we were advised that we needed to look at a $15,000 replacement of the equipment. After reviewing the current system they advised us that we did not need to replace the system at all.

+ -1 moreWe had several times this past year where we had plumbing problems. Griffin would show up within an hour after calling them and sometimes as fast as 15 minutes. They were very professional and their prices reasonable especially given the good service. I would recommend them.
Description of Work: The fixed leaking pipes on several occasions and fixed the furnace at a different time.

+ 0 moreThe drain in the main level shower was plugged, and the pipe in the basement was leaking. Mr. Griffin came to my house on the same day that I reported the problem to him. He took time out of his already busy day to fix the problem, even though it was not an emergency, and gave me suggestions for future problems I might incur. He was very courteous and professional. He recommended that I have the main drain running into the house and quot;Roto-Rooteredand quot;, which I did. By following his recommendation I saved myself hundreds of dollars; the drain was so clogged that the house was in danger of flooding - ruining the internal plumbing. I am so grateful!
Description of Work: I hired Mr. Griffin to evaluate and fix a plumbing leak. He responded immediately, was courteous, and very knowledgeable. I was also, very pleased with the reasonable rate for his service! I would highly recommend Griffin Mechanical.

+ -1 moreWhile away on vacation, my neighbor noticed an underground water leak in the water supply line going into my house. One call to Griffin Mechanical resulted in him tracing the leak, bringing in contractors to dig up the problem and refill, and fixing the water line. He was prompt, efficient and reasonably priced.
Description of Work: After using several mechanical contractors, I hired Griffin Mechanical to reinstall a steam humidifier on my home furnace. Since then I have used him to install water softeners at my home and some rental properties in the area. He has even coordinated the work to repair an underground water leak coming into my house. Although he doesn't do electrical work I intend to use him for any other mechanical repairs such as heating and air conditioning work. He is excellent.

+ 0 moreHe was excellent! He told me of repairs that should be performed in the future, including the time and cost associated with the repair. He was very courteous and fixed the problem in no time! I paid him for a full hour because he was so prompt and genuinely concerned. He was not going to charge me at all! I will definitely call him for all of our plumbing needs. He also, referred us to another service company that turned out to be as efficient as he was. A++
Description of Work: I called Mr. Griffin at night due to a plumbing problem. He came right over the next morning, on time as promised. He diagnosed the problem immediately as a stuck drain trap in the downstairs shower.
