+ -1 moreWe purchased our lot first, then had to look for the right builder for our price-range. The area we chose had a mixture of stick-built and modular homes, and we decided to look into modular not only to save money, but it made sense to have our home built in a factory where conditions were ideal and construction was more likely to be fitted better than on-site building processes. We were right. We had a family member build our garage that they attached to the house, even though Boyne River also does garages, as well as basements, porches and other site-work. We saved a lot of money and couldn't be happier with the results!
Description of Work: Boyne River provides custom modular housing in the Northern Michigan area. All of their floorplans are customizable, and they provide all the work from start to finish, or to whatever point in the building process you want them to. Their homes are the highest quality in the modular category for the lowest price, and all their modulars meet or exceed Michigan building codes. Jack also makes sure that the roofs are sturdy enough for the ice and snow loads of Northern Michigan, as well as highly insulated for the lowest energy costs. Jack is a licensed builder who was extremely helpful every step of the way, from floorplanning, to site work. This company performed way above expectation, was professional, and completed our project on time!
