The internet, cable TV. and land line telephone service provided by this company is shameful. For at least two hours each day, our telephone is completely "out of service." That means you receive or can make absolutely no telephone calls. I have called and called, since November of 2012, about this situation to no avail. They have NEVER offered to send someone out; nor do they ever have answers or solutions for this problem. In an emergency two weeks ago, we needed to call 9-1-1 = and you guessed it - the phone was not working. Upon dialing local numbers, there is a 30-second wait for it to ring. I don't know what that's all about. And while you're speaking to people on the phone, voices at times are completely garbled. Again, have no idea what that's about and you sure aren't going to be able to find out from this company. As far as the cable TV service, mid to poor. Several times a month, it is out completely. Recently they have "updated" their digital capability, which resulted in changing what were previously 2-digit channel numbers to six and seven digits numbers, such as 200.221. Like someone is going to remember complete series of numbers just to get a particular channel. Again, ridiculous. As far as the internet service provided - again, a real joke. Something as simple as watching a video on YouTube results in a 2-minute video taking 15 minutes to watch. It starts . . . it stops . . . . pauses . . . . hesitates . . . so frustrating, again ridiculous. After calling this the $1.98 phone service [which I'm paying $130 a month for], I finally packed it in today and called other providers for these services. The fact of knowing the phone itself may not be available in an emergency was enough for me.
