After working with a different HVAC contractor who treated us terribly and did terrible work, we contacted Kand B about not only helping us finish the other contractors mess but making it right! They were fantastic right from the word go!! Steve is wonderful to work with...very honest, efficient and knowledgeable. Joe, the owner and person who did the work (along with some of his staff) were awesome. They did a fantastic job at a very fair price! I would recommend Kand B to anyone for their honesty, high quality workmanship and kindness!! If I ever need HVAC work in the future, they are on speed dial!! A++++++

Our a/c quit in the hottest week of the summer. They came right out. We looked at different options and we picked the one that best suited our needs. Three guys (including the owner) came out and spent the entire day installing the new unit. It was approximately 97 degrees out. They stayed until the install was finished and they had tested it. It was hard work under difficult conditions. They never complained once. They were professional, nice to work with and cleaned up. We have used their services since 2008. We would highly recommend them.

He should up on time, ask what the problem was and had a new part installed in 15 minutes.

I got the name of this company from my local hardware store and called and spoke with Gidget. After my initial contact, she called and made arrangements with my husband. We were very thrilled that someone would come after work so we didn't have to miss work. Joe was the person who came and looked at our furnace and got the parts and did the work. We have a pretty old fuel oil furnace and it seemed like it took a little time to get the parts needed; but again, once the parts were available Joe came in the evening and replaced the parts. Had to come back once because one of the parts didn't quite fit. But the next evening we had heat!

Quick. Refill freon one year later was poor. He lost about 7 seconds of Freon from compressor and did not add any.

Kand B Mechanical had determined that the previous two estimates for repair on my 20+ year old air conditioner was not completely accurate. The other two larger A/C companies had determined that my current A/C was not repairable and I needed a new one. Both of their estimates for repair was over $3,000.00. The second of the two larger A/C companies was at least honest with me and told me that by replacing my A/C I would not see a return on my investment towards a new one due to the fact we use A/C sporadically in the area. He assumed the first estimate of the part that was needed was true (without checking) and agreed that I would need a new A/C. Also at least the second largest company did NOT charge me $84.00 for an estimate. The first one charged me that amount and called it a service call. When Kand B came over I showed them the two estimates. The owner actually took apart the top of my furnace dealing with the A/C leakage and told me that I did NOT have a leaking drain pan, but the coil above it. He also said having a new A/C I would not see a return on the investment and said he could replace the part that was broken, but also needed to have someone custom make (redo) the top part by remaking the sheet metal in order to divert a drain to the proper place. He also moved my dryer vent that originally was going out under my wood deck. His estimate for performing that service was 1/3 the price of the others. The job took two days due to the sheet metal special order, and both owners came to do the job. I would highly recommend their service, or at least phone them after getting two other estimates.

Kand B Mechanical provided a detailed proposal with no hidden extra charges. The company was very reasonable, reliable, honest, and provided excellent service and celan up. I will continue to use this company and have referred others.

The job flowed well and was completed in a timely manner. Each person who came to work at our house was very neat, respectful and trust-worthy. We are pleased with our heating unit.

Have had them out twice now, last fall to check our furnace, this summer to check our central air. Both times excellent service, reasonably priced. I have no complaints and will continue to use them when HVAC work is needed.
