Description of Work: Our water was occasionally stopping the last two weeks, but would start again if we turned the water on somewhere else in the house. Yesterday it started slowing down altogether so I called J&M today. They came over within an hour of my call, and had the entire problem fixed an hour later. I felt very confident in their prompt analysis; it was obvious they were giving me a straight answer, and not just yanking me for money. They promptly set to putting in a new tank, switch and gauge and they were done quickly.

Description of Work: Drilled new well, and capped old well.

Description of Work: Well-service. Called for no-water late on a Friday afternoon. They responded within the quoted 1 1/2 hours. They told me my well-switch was burned out, and replaced the switch that afternoon so I had water. They advised that the switch only burns out when the well-pump is drawing too much current, and is about to stop working. I had the well-pump replaced previously between 15 and 20 years ago. They said he pump might last a few months, or a few more years. I did not want to be without water and agreed to have a new well installed. They advised that I needed a county well-permit. They told me where to go to get the permit, and that I would need a scale-drawing of my home, my current well, and my septic tank. I got the new well-permit the next Monday and called them back and faxed the permit. They said they would drill the new well the next day, starting on a Tuesday. They called back Monday night and advised they had others without water, and asked if they could come on a Wednesday, instead of on Monday. I agreed since I had water and knew what is was like being without water. They arrived Wednesday morning and set up their large well-drilling truck. They placed large rubber mats to avoid damaging my lawn. They explained what they would be doing, and began drilling the new well. They completed the drilling in early afternoon, and advised me that they would return the next morning to complete the well. They arrived early the next morning and used a backhoe to dig out the old well. provide pipe for the new well, installed the new well pump, a new holding tank, switch, and associated plumbing. They chlorinated the new well as per state regulations, and adjusted the water-pressure. They then used the back-hoe to completely remove my old well, and seal it off, then replaced all the dirt. They did as little damage to the front lawn as they could. They explained the warranty, and showed me all the newly installed equipment in my basement. I am very happy with the work they work they provided.
