Closets By Design - East Michigan

Saw ad in paper - called - very nice sale person came & measured. Install was on schedule - Both men were on time - very neat. Install look great. Cleaned up perfectly when done!! great experience.

It was a great easy experience. Dana, the designer looked at our old closets and designed great closets that fit all of our needs. Installation was quick and clean - these guys really knew what they were doing. The closet pieces were cut exactly to the specifications. Overall we have a beautiful, professional, space saving closet system. We love it!

It was a great experience. Lucia was professional and service oriented, calculated accurate measurements and consulted me on the best design plan to suit our needs. Darren installed and was punctual, friendly, professional, quick and accurate and worked patiently through minor tweaks at the end.

They did an incomplete installation. Parts missing. No estimate for when they will have the parts in stock and finish the job. They chose not to tell me about the missing parts when they confirmed the appointment. If they had, we could have easily rescheduled. Instead, I am left with a half done job. If they ever finish the job, I'll update this review. I am very unhappy with Closets by Design. I should have used a higher end retailer for this job. I am filing a report with the BBB as well as leaving honest reviews on all review sites.

They were awesome. Everything from the initial consultation up to and including the installation was suburb. The price was more than competitive. The designer worked with me to ensure we had maximized the space efficiently. After making my final decision to use CBD, they continued to exceed expectations. They called to remind me of the installation date and items that needed to be ready for the installer. On the installation date, the installer, Darren, called prior to arriving at my home. He was nothing but kind and professional. He was done in less time than expected and my closets look fantastic. He even took a bit of extra time to add some trim to make it look even better. I am so happy with my decision to use Closets by Design.

The salesperson Marilynn was amazing. She was very professional, friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. She is someone we would invite back over for lunch :-) Our installer called prior to arrival and completed the job quicker then estimated. She was very personal, friendly and clean. Would gladly do business with Closet by Design again!

The guys were right in time and even gave a call to let me know they were enroute to my home. They were actually a little earlier and estimated how long the install would take. They informed me of every detail that was essential for maintenance and made sure the job was level and plumbed up.

They came on day scheduled, called us after there first job, some where else was done. Let us know what time to expect them. Came on time said and started to work on project. They were very concious of being in your home. Cleaned up after themselves. Good working polite workers.

They responded promptly and followed up with a design visit to share available options and cost. Once signed, installation was scheduled within a couple of weeks. Entire installation took around 5 hours and it went smoothly. Person who did the installation was very courteous, knew exactly what he was doing, did a great job with the installation and then cleaned up after himself. Nice, professional group.

Called for an appointment. Maryann came out and worked with me. Giving me what I wanted while staying within my budget. A couple of weeks later Darren and his assistant came and quickly assembled my closet system. I thought it would take much longer than it did. They did an excellent job. I am very pleased.

We were very impressed first of all with the salesperson who came out to our house and designed the system. Her name was Sharon F. She was informative and pleasant without being "pushy". Darren our installer came on the day and time agreed on. He was very professional, polite and an"A-one" job. We are extremely happy with the finished product which more than meets our expectations. Although, we spent more than we originally planned on we think we got our money's worth.

The installer - Darren was early - called ahead, extremely polite and friendly. He brought product and tools in, promptly began installation, answered all my questions completely. and cleaned up inside and out and left my home at the exact time predicted.

We had our free consultation with a designer on 1/9/17. Our designer was Sharon and she was a pleasure to work with. She came to our house to check out the spaces we wanted upgraded and drew up some designs after seeing the spaces. We originally had an appointment for two closets and a pantry but after seeing the designs and the materials I fell in love and begged by husband to upgrade two more closets. Sharon was very understanding and patient as I kept adding closets and worked with us when we had a different idea for the nursery closet. She made a new design after seeing what I had in mind, my fault for not showing or expressing it to her in the beginning. We were able to get everything we wanted and more (5 closets) for a little more than we planned on spending for the 3 closets. The company was very understanding with our schedule and allowed us to have our install date more than two months after the initial consultation. Darren was our closet installer on 3/22/17 and he was also a pleasure to work with. He arrived on time, a few minutes early actually. Normally our dogs are hesitant to letting strangers into the house, especially men, but they warmed up to him really quick, not a single bark out of them. Darren was polite, prompt and did great work. He removed and disposed of the old materials and didn't scuff up walls or cause any damage during the removal or install process. He was the only installer and for the 5 spaces it look him less than 4 hours including roughly a 10 minute break. Darren made sure we knew how to adjust and modify the spaces and showed us neat tricks for utilizing the upgraded closets. Overall my husband and I are very satisfied with their work and the lifetime guarantee they have on their products. We will be recommending Closets by Design to friends and family!

Install was timely and professional. They did put one scratch in the wall We will have to repair as it was in the open area. Other than that, everything was great.
