I had a complex project since the discovery of an underground cement wall was a surprise. I was also limited in the places to install the sump pump inside. Rick and his crew worked hard and tweaked things until I was completely satisfied with the result. Rick was very pleasant to work with and quite professional. He clearly wanted to make sure that all work was done to my satisfaction. I have not had a drop of water in the basement since the waterproofing and sump pump were installed, and I would not hesitate to use Absolute Waterproofing Solutions again or to recommend them to others.

When my wife got home she said she expected to come home to a mess in the basement and dust every where. She was very pleased that was not the case. The basement was clean and ready for them work the next day. The protected the hardwood floors, they covered everything in the basement, even the dry vac. They left the site clean and clear of any trash. They were very professional.

Took time off to work to be home for an estimate at the agreed upon time. No call no show.

It went very well. The crew was very considerate of the owner's privacy and of keeping all parts of the house clean during the process. I was very well informed throughout the entire process. Since the job was completed, the waterproofing is working well. Absolute Waterproofing is a reputable company with excellent customer service.

It went great as I noted above and we were very pleased with the punctuality and quality of the job. Most important, no more weeping walls and leaks.

I was informed by my across the street neighbor; Absolute Waterproofing Solutions did their work and it came out fine.

My crawl space is now dry and smells alot better. The crew is very nice to work with, they were very busy all day and pleasant to have around. The work area (and the hall to get to the work area) was covered and clean. They removed any "trash" that they produced. They are a very busy business so it took a few weeks to complete the job, not a real problem. All in all I would have them back and would recommend them to others.

Absolute lied to my elderly parents (who are unable to physically get to basement) that the contracted work was completed and basement waterproofed to get full payment. I inspected it the next day. They tried to reuse the failed 25 year old system to save labor & material without asking to change the contract for a new system or even offering a credit. The above slab components (Water X-Tract) were not installed correctly (almost no sealant on bottom, barely any new cement) and continue to leak and other areas were not installed at all per contract. "New" drain tube running to one side of sump is broken on the bottom so water is not all going into the sump, but back into the ground within the perimeter system. Cement is smeared all over the exposed system components and the floor finish far from smooth. The owner, Rick Jacobs, has been very unprofessional and refuses to address any of the issues even after formal written notification. He responded with a letter stating that he will not respond to any of the issues because his system is complete and even resulted to childish name calling and personal attacks against us trying to avoid having to take any responsibility. Lots of water is entering underneath an inaccessible stairway creating hazardous mold conditions. His response was that if any of his system is touched (wall system would need to be unattached to access underneath stairs) he would void the warranty. Another attempt to shift blame. Worst of all, the last time he actually returned a phone call (one week ago), he had told me to removed a component to verify sealant was properly applied even though the installers admitted it wasn't - this was clearly an attempt to find any excuse to blame us for damage to his faulty system and incomplete work. Sadly, we have been forced to pursue legal recourse to get our basement dry and waterproof because he has basically taken my elderly parents money and ran and will not respond to repeated calls, emails or formal notice letters. You would be VERY WISE TO SELECT ANYONE ELSE to do your basement waterproofing!!!

My experience with Absolute Basement & Crawlspace Solutions has so far been very good. He is starting the work in about a month. They came out, did a good survey of what our problem was and provided us with a solution. The solution was consistent with some work I had done in another state by another company and I was pleased with that job, as well. We ended up choosing them over other bids because they were going to do some things that were slightly different than other companies were offering. The other companies appear to be good. I wouldn't have had a problem with choosing any of them.
