Lumber Jacks

We ordered a cord of firewood and asked if the amount was a standard cord of 128 cubic feet and were assured that it was. Upon delivery and stacking in our wood cradle, the stacked wood amounted to 94 cubic feet. Our wood cradle is only 124 cubic feet and it was only 3/4 full. Contacted Lumber Jacks about the discrepancy and they said they did not actually measure the amount delivered but counted it by buckets full (I suspect they meant a tractor's bucket) and would deliver the remainder in the next few days. Waited 8 more days and called again. This time they were able to deliver the remainder three days later. The first delay may have been caused by winter weather but they should have called and informed me. Other than the under-delivery, the wood was fine, albeit a bit green, which might be normal for this time of year.

We stopped out at Lumber Jacks to see the product and talk to the owner. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was very accommodating as far as delivery and even made sure to drop the load on the tarps we had placed down. I would recommend this business and will definitely use them again.

I called Lumber Jacks after my previous firewood provider delivered short several times on the purchase of a cord of firewood. Lumber Jacks delivered a full cord (3 ricks) of seasoned wood. They returned my call promptly and delivered the wood when they scheduled it.
