About us

We have been in business since 1994. During this time, we have installed hundreds of brick paver and natural stone landscapes throughout Southeastern Michigan. We carry Commercial Liability, Commercial Vehicle and Worker's Compensation Insurance. Take a look at our website to see our portfolio. Austin Brick Pavers LLC is dedicated to our community. We only employ local workers because we believe in keeping jobs local and we also believe in paying a decent wage for an honest day's work. Our employees are courteous and knowledgeable and always appear in Austin Brick Pavers LLC uniforms on the job site. As an owner of the business, I work hand in hand with my employees on the job site, utilizing my 19 years of brick paving experience and also my knowledge of architecture. I hold a degree in Architecture from Lawrence Technological University. We are a Unilock Authorized Contractor. We take pride in community outreach like sponsoring our local T-ball teams and the Adopt-a-Highway program.

Description of Work: Front walk brick pavers and reset the flag stone to match. Also a nice large brick step to front porch. Reset the brick pavers on the other side of the driveway to match the new cement drive. It was all done in one day. I was not there but a neighbor said that they were working hard and getting the job done quick. Looks great! Got one neighbor taking pictures because she likes it so much (of course the new front door helpped also).

We are puzzled by this review as this person has never been our customer. This member sent us an email request in August 2014 for a poured concrete walkway. We promptly called and left a message that we don't do poured concrete services. We also noted in the message that if the member was interested in brick pavers to please give us a call and that we would be glad to do an estimate. We never heard from the member again until this F rating was posted, giving no explanation. We have contacted Angie's List and requested that the review be removed from our profile as it is not applicable.

(Member name removed), I was surprised to see this review today. As soon as I read it I went through voice mails on both my mobile phone and office line, but there is no record of your call. I can assure you that had I received your message, I would have promptly called you and given you an estimate. I am proud of the fact that I typically meet with my potential customers within one or two days and sometimes even same day. Is there a chance that the message could have been left with a wrong number? If not, I would speculate that perhaps some sort of error happened in the voice mail service. I am disappointed that Austin Brick Pavers would be given an F grade before at least a second phone call was made or a contact request directly through Angie's List to make sure it wasn't an honest mistake of human error, technology error, etc. If you are still interested, I would be happy to come and give an estimate.
