Moore & Moore Painting

Overall we were pleased, and when we found things that needed re-doing, they did come back and re-do as needed. Some of the workmen were very unprofessional, and seemed to do almost no work. I guess it is Mr. Moore that was being cheated, not us, but it wasn't nice to see.

By the time that they got done, my son had a whole bottle of medication missing from his medicine cabinet in his bathroom. So I would not recommend them. They did excellent as far as their work. Their price was fantastic. I called up seven different painters. In fact, I got a list from Angie's List on who to call. Their price was very hard to beat. Their price was $2800 and the other companies I called were in the $5000 range. That was a huge difference. They did quality work. They had seven or eight different jobs going at one time. So, they would be here and then they would be called out to somebody else's place. It took them six days to do it. One guy was absolutely great. His name was Don. He was fantastic. He had one of his buddies come out to help him because they were short of people. It was the buddy that ended up doing the bathroom, and that's where the medicine came up missing.

See above...I have contacted the licensing bureau to come and examine the work. I wrote a letter informing him of my intentions and gave ten days from the receipt of the certified letter. Nothing til a month later and then it was his office person.

The deck was in rough shape, when I bought the house 2 yrs ago. After such a bad winter the old stain was gone. Mr. Moore did a great job saving it from sure disaster...painted with slip proof paint and made sure it sealed so it would last. He is one of the nicest people I have hired through Angie's List. Thorough, explained everything and answered all my questions. Will definitely use him again!

They cleaned and re-stained our house and deck. They did a nice job and cleaned up after the job. They missed a few spots and were glad to come back and finish the job.

Mr. Moore and his crew worked on the house for three days. They cleaned up after themselves each day. Our house has steel siding and was quite faded. We are very happy with the way it looks now. He gave us a one-year warranty, so if we have any problems or need touch ups, he will come back.

Painted my house & garage. The owner Phil assured me he not only owned the business but for many years had taught painting. He guaranteed that they would protect my roof, deck , etc. during the process. I had to call & ask them to come back because there were a number of areas that were not painted at all or poorly covered. He sent one guy who worked in rainy conditions on a Saturday. The reason I gave such a poor rating is because they left overspray everywhere on my expensive metal roof, spilt paint on my deck & left it, put my house numbers on crooked even though the original holes were there to guide them & did not paint a gable that was badly in need of paint. Phil Moore never followed up to see if I was satisfied with the job-- but someone came & got the sign out of my front yard & the gable which looks awful is hard to miss.

It looks great! I can't say enough good things about these guys. They showed up on time, worked diligently and left my house looking much better than before they arrived. Phil Moore is a pleasure to work with and-even though I'm not a paint expert-he took the time to explain choices and options in a way that made sense.

I feel that this was a reasonable price for the amount they did.
