I couldn't be happier, excellent service. Got more for my money than I expected.

Called his office day before to verify appointment. Waited 2 hours. Never got a call stating he'd be late or couldn't make it. My time is valuable too.

Awesome. Crew performed services as requested and clean up debris.

I won't have anybody else, they clean up and they are very responsible, on time and good on everything.

When I called for an estimate, they were very gracious, friendly and accommodating. Chris came out that day. Again a very nice man. They came back two days later to do the work. They were reasonable price, efficient and cleaned up afterwards.

Contacted to get firewood. Woman answering phone said her son-in-law handles that and took our number. Son-in-law called us, and we set up a time and place to meet him to get the wood. He was there but didn't have the wood. Said he would go get it, and we offered to go with him so we could just put it directly in our truck. He said that we couldn't do that because the wood was at his in-laws and they don't let him bring people there. He said he'd be back in ten minutes with the wood, but came back without it and didn't call us even though we saw him come back and walk into his apartment building. Bottom line, weird, unreliable service. Stay away from these guys as a source of firewood!

There was nothing out of place when I returned home, except for the fact that my tree was gone. Very professional, timely and responsive. I would highly recommend this company. I received estimates from 3 other companies - all were similar in price.

Before the snow I tried to get wood from them and they were useless. They were supposed to deliver wood. They were supposed to call me. They didn't call me for like two weeks. I ordered another load of wood from someone else. Then they showed up on a Sunday afternoon with a load of wood. I was like who are you guys. I rang you guys and told you not to come. They tried to sell it to me for cheaper than what they would. They had a dump truck and they were just going to dump it on my front porch. I said no. You guys stack it up in the back and I'll give you a decent amount of money. They said sorry, we don't do that. I said sorry, see you guys later. That was terrible. The fact that I had called them quite a few times, got no reply, let a message that I didn't no longer need their services and then have them show up.

The date and amount are my best guesses. But I did meet with the company and they wrote an estimate for some tree work. I was forced to go with a lower offer due to the unplanned expense of having some storm damaged trees removed. But I would recommend this company due to their professionalism and courtesy. The gentleman that came to our home even brought my garbage can up from the curb when he came for the estimate. Where can you find people that go the extra mile these days? LaFountain Tree Specialists, that's where!

1st job it took 3 calls to get firewood delivered. Then, @ March 2014 I called twice to get firewood delivered, I left a message but never received a call back.

This was the best service I have gotten from any provider in Michigan. I called late Friday. The owner came out Saturday to give us an estimate. They arrived promptly on Tuesday morning with professional equipment and enough men to do all the work before noon including raking up and chipping all the trimmed branches, large and small. They knew how to trim the trees properly for tree growth and health, unlike a previous company that we had to call back twice and still left dead branches. Both the owner and his crew were pleasantly courteous. This is an A+ company.

The tree was removed; however, 18 inches of the trunk remain. I phoned LaFountain three times and was told that they would be back to cut the trunk flush with the ground. I was informed that they were very busy due to the storm, but they assured me that they would be back to finish the job. Unfortunately, LaFountain never returned.

They were very fast and very polite. They were very reasonable. I would absolutely use them again.

They were quick and efficient. They came when they said they would come and did exactly what they said they would do.

We were one of the unlucky people that had a tree fall during the severe wind storm on labor Day weekend. Our 40 ft. maple was hit by lightening and snapped down the trunk, resulting in half the tree lying on our house, and the other half still standing. LaFountain was in our neighborhood helping residents, and another neighbor sent them our way. We had them evaluate the situation, evaluate what equipment would be needed, and then they promised that they would be back in 2 hours to completely remove the tree off my house, tarp my roof, and cut down the tree. They did all of that! This was a family crew- there were fathers and sons, nieces aunts- you name it! I took comfort in that in my time of stress and crisis. After the tree was safely removed, everyone hauled the branches to our street. They worked so hard for us- we bought them pizza! Billing was sent directly to our homeowners insurance, we have not seen a bill, or a breakdown of the charges. It doesn't matter, we would use them again no matter what.
