Description of Work: We used Universal Plumbing Plumbing about 15 years ago and then in 2001 we built a new home in Chelsea and used Universal to outfit our new home - 2 full baths, a half bath, kitchen and laundry room. Always received excellent service. | |On October 30, 2014 I went into the store to order a kitchen sink and faucet disappointing to say I couldn't get waited on - after going up to the counter and asking for help, I finally received assistance however I felt like I was bothering Steve at the counter with my "miniscule order".It wasn't until I stated I was a repeat customer did I feel like he wanted to even help me. Steve did write an estimate and I said I would call him back when we were ready to order. | |I did call back in November to place the order, Steve Tills stated their computers were down and he would call me back once they came up, he would then pull up my estimate and get the order placed. | |On Wednesday, December 17, 2014 after a month of not receiving a call back I called Steve again @ 4:20PM, he said he was tied up but would call me before he left and pull up my estimate and get the order placed. | |It is January 12, 2015 and I have yet to receive that phone call to place my order. | |I did send Universal Plumbing an email on Thursday December 18, 2014 and I have never received any type of response back from them. | |In my email I told them they serviced their customers much better when they were a smaller store - it appears that my 800.00 order wasn't enough to warrant taking an order from me or bothering to contact me. | |I would NOT recommend them again - if a store can't bother to even call a customer back they do not deserve the business.

They spend a lot of time when they're looking for what it is you want and they really aim to please. Even though it's not easy to get to them, that's where I go. I go there for everything that I'm going to purchase like a sink or whatever. They are top of the line.

+ 0 moreFor anyone who needs plumbing parts or any plumbing supplies. Dwight was the salesman. He took a lot of time to explain all of the options and differences between the different fixtures. He even explained how I could fix the existing fixture. No sales pressure. Great selection. Great discount on everything. Very proffessional. They will answer all of your questions.
Description of Work: This is a plumbing supply store. I bought a trim tub and shower lever handle, a pressure valve and a plate cover.
