They came out on time and did a really good job. Helped me pick the best possible repair for long-term quality. The cost ended up being higher than I originally anticipated, but the replacement parts are much higher quality than the original, and overall it was well worth it.

Called to fix noise issue on a new LiftMaster that I bought from another company. A-1 came right on schedule. At first the noise wasn’t fixed. He asked if I was satisfied, and I said, “no.” So he went back to work and fixed it so that all the clanking noise was gone! To me, that’s the key for great service. Not everyone is perfect, the best are those who fix it.

With a broken door they were able toe arrive the next day, on time and complete a perfect repair, with some upgrades (door opener and springs), in 3 hours.

Everything was fixed in satisfactory fashion. Technician was on time and explained the work needed. Replaced both door springs, one pulley bearing and cabling.

Our garage was not operating and when the sensors lights were off, I speculated that was the problem. I called Tom in the morning and he was able to come take a look, putting in new sensors and wires by mid afternoon. It was a quite fix, probably an hour max. Both him and his son were professional and more importantly, got the job done. Highly recommended.

The company's representative was prompt, efficient and professional and he came on a Sunday night as it was an emergency. Outstanding service! Fair Price! altho there was premium for weekend service of $40 which I knew up front and had no problem paying.

Made the appointment, technician never showed up.(Thursday August 16, 2018 between 3-6 PM) Someone called around 6:40 PM and left no messages. The next day called and rearrange for that day. (10-12 AM) My wife stayed at home and again no one showed up. No call as well. Called the same day to speak with David Eckes. I was told that he would call me back. This was on last Friday August 17, 2018. Still waiting for the CALL!! Very unprofessional and lousy. No respect when I called in. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE.

John was amazing! Professional, extremely knowledgeable and prompt. He got the work done quickly and assured me that my garage door should lift more smoothly and shouldn’t have any issues. Definitely recommend!

They promptly answered our inquiry and instead of sending someone out and charging us money they recommended that we call the garage door opener company and provided us with the number. the company was able to fix it for us over the phone for free! This is an example of a company with good integrity. They easily could have just charged us for something that was easily fixable but instead helped us find a free solution. Thanks!

They were able to send a service rep out the same day. The guys were quick and explained what they were doing and what I could do in the future to avoid the problem from recurring. This was above and beyond what was expected and I highly recommend A-1 if you have any need for a repair or installation of a new door - this is the team to call!!

Garage door spring broke. The tech showed up in less than 1hr after he call within a few minutes of requesting via Angie’s list. Also lubed the roller and was in and out. Great work

It went well. They showed up the next day after I called. They told me it would cost more to replace the door than to just have it fixed and that they back there work! No problems so far!

It helped, but one problem wasn't really solved. It may be a problem with the age of the garage.

Great. There was an attempted smash and grab on my garage door late Monday night and I needed a new door right away as my car was stuck in the garage. They came out the next day, gave me a price and it was installed the next day. Everyone else I called said I would have to wait until the following week which I could not do. Everything was hooked back up like new. Paul the installer did a great job. I would recommend this company to anyone.

I called them on Friday to repair my garage door. They scheduled someone to come out the next day between noon-3:00. At 11:00 they called to tell me they weren't coming due to the snow. He was apologetic and we re-scheduled for Monday at 9:00. Of course, they didn't show up or call on Monday.

This is the third time I have us d A-1 for a repair and they continue to do excellent work. Thank you !

Mike kept us informed of his arrival timing, diagnosed the problem and quickly repaired it. He made sure everything else was in working order before he left.

Our garage door needed a tune-up and adjustment, so we called A1. They cancelled the day scheduled to come because of a truck break down during the first Winter storm. The service man came the next morning (Saturday) at 7:30 am and completed the tune-up and adjustment. The garage door is working much more smoothly.

The Technician Mike was professional, very friendly and promt. He fixed my garage door and made sure the wheels, hinges, rollers, cables.. whole system was working correctly.
