Description of Work: Paid $30 for a $50 service call. Tech oiled rollers, secured loose sensor wires (normal service), spent 10 minutes max in garage, then tried to high-jack my house keeper for $130. I was told the Angies List fee of $29 was only a fee to do business with A-1. Referred this mess to Angies List customer service, and never heard from them again. Should have gotten an apology! BEWARE!!!

Description of Work: They did noting!! When the technician came he was limping he said he had gout he put the roller back then sprayed a little 10w40 said nothing was wrong with my garage door. When we tried to get the garage door open it would open a little. I called A1 the man said they don't do warranty coverage I would have to wait till next week my problem was not an emergency.

Description of Work: At first I thought they had not performed the service but after a follow-up call a technician returned. He explained the light beam on the door would move about on its own and showed me how to reposition it.. I've had no trouble since. I especially appreciate the patience of Brad when I called him and I was upset. Throughout the entire conversation he remained calm, professional and respectful despite of my behavior. I think he was a great representative of the company.

Description of Work: I called 8am on Saturday and left a message, then I emailed them, they never responded to either. I called back Monday afternoon and they couldn't come out until the next afternoon. Did not start out well and felt they were not dependable.

Description of Work: I have use them for more simple tasks such as fixing the garage door and I am sure that would be great with an aluminum garage door unfortunately with the more expensive door you lied to me about his experience with it and took over a month before he returned to put the final touches on
